I know this is something wierd..but off the top of my head when we had our meeting we talked about lunch.
What about someone trying to see if you can get a sponsership from say a pizza place or sub shop? See if you maybe can get some free food or highly discounted food for advertisement or coupons. Im not sure how you go about getting sponsor ships from those places you have no Jay and if it would be diffrent wehn dealing with a food place.
Say Like Papa John, Dominos, Sub Way, Amiels, Pizza Hut or something along that lines? Perhaps then Lunch could be served?

You have my old pamphlet that I did for the Exterminatus GT's. I highly recomend putting advertisers in the packet if you are doing one and giving high level sponsors adds on the scenarios.
Chessex has always been good in the past for a pack or two of dice, armorcast has never come through for me. GF9 has always been great and gave me a great deal on purchasing mass quatities of items. For example they let me put the exterminatus logo on their 6-4-2 measuring device (I think thats what they call it heh) and gave me a super low price. We gave them to everyone registered in 40K and had charge arc templates done for the fantasy guys. Battlefoam seems very into helping out in a lot of occasions and if you get them early enough they may get your event on 40K radio.

If you have a plotter available...a banner would work well to help sponsors.
Also, up north we've found sponsors are really interested in feedback so that they can show their involvement in the community. We try to provide a "post-op" package which includes photos (trying for ones with their product or logo strategically placed), results page, comments and feedback about their product from any discussions we've had over the weekend.
You can also hit up the sponsors we've listed on the warmaster site...they've almost all been quite willing to work with us. The earlier you contact them the better.
Craft and Art Supply Stores (Michael's, etc) would probably be relavent for sponsorship as well. Though it might be more work to convince them why.
Later, Greg

Dan's Crafts and Things for sure. Definitely worth approaching them.
