So it turns out I am going in for shoulder surgery soon. What this means for the GT is that there is a good chance I will not be able to finish the army I want in time. It also means I'm going to have an interesting time at the GT itself since I will be disabled at best, and possibly still in a sling. Frustrating as hell to say the least.
Hopefully I can cram all the projects I need into the time I have before surgery. Once surgery happens, all projects are done for quite some time.

Probably could, but I like painting my own stuff. I should know by the army submission deadline if I'll make it or not.
Now, the table on the other hand may get outsourced. It's well on it's way. Mostly needs painting and scatter terain. I figure in a pinch, we can populate it with terrain from another collection. Getting it there will be the adventure.

Just borrow an IG gunline. NO movement and all you have to do is roll dice. If done right you just glue all the models to a display board the excact size of the back 6" of your deployment zone.

Where are you located Ranger? I might be able to help you move your table around if need be.

West Irondequoit. Not sure what I'm going to need in the way of help yet. I'll probably be asking for specifics as the date approaches if needed. More than likely my wife can help me get everything in the car. It will be more at the event site I'll need help.
Mike, rather amusing idea. But you know me. When have I ever played a conventional army? Gunline is too normal for me. Besides, it's not the moving the models on the table that worries me. It's the moving them from table to table.
