Heheh I was going to say the same thing.
First off the FU comments were way off base. Clean it up before you post it, especially if you appoligize for it later. That is just bad blogging. 2nd off he has no reason to cry about comp. I got hammerd on comp a lot worse and at no point did I say FU or post massive negative comments on the internet. I was suprised but good god dude, pull up your pants. 3rd that model looks like my 13 year old painted it. The highlights are not even close and the paint looks globbed on. Normally I would not say anything negative about someone's paint job and typically will help them improve but to cry like that on an open forum is wrong.
I actually had to stop watching about 1/3 way in due to all the FU and my kids in the room....Bad Mojo man...Bad Mojo. That just does not lend itself well to the hobby....

Hi
I won't comment much on comp scoring, but I believe that he posted his list on "yesthetruthhurts" and while Stelek didn't respond because he hates comp, those who did told him repeatedly that the double special characters - including a non-imperial fist - and the spam of just three units would result in failure. And surprise, surprise - it happened. While the guide didn't have a fixed rubric, it did point out that special characters and spam would not be viewed in a positive light. (Incidentially, I agree with Black Matt that one Shrike is much uglier than Lysander & Telion in terms of power).
Regarding his painting, if you watch his pre-GT viedo, you get to see all of his army. My assessment of his painting (as of the video): - the terminators and characters are decent. Not out of this world amazing but definitely worthy of the table-top. The basing is quite nice as well. - the scouts and speeders are... not finished (in the video). The skin isn't done on the scouts, the speeders aren't done at all. The final product that was brought to the GT may have been more complete, but the score of 32 for what was on the video is more than fair.
Cheers, Nate
