Hey guys! I know we just had a major event down here, but for any of you that missed it, aren't into soft scores, or just heard how awesome the last one was and really want to make the trip, heres the info on our team tournament.
The official thread is HERE.
The Binghamton Team Tournament will be held at Jupiter Games on March 26th, a saturday.
The rules are available in this packet: www.pdfhost.net/index.php?Action=Download&File=b849dac40fa3cf2e3976dd9441755b05
It is a 1750 ETC style 3 person team event. This means players will register in teams of three, but will always play normal 1750 1v1 games. You are scored as a team, and can help decide matchups as a team, as detailed in the packet.
It is a purely competitive event with no soft scores. Models must still follow the "Common sense" proxy/conversion rules (no paper models, no unconverted other systems models, must be similar size, easily recognizable, WYSIWYG etc). E-mail or PM me with questions.
You can (and are encouraged to) register with Jupiter Games when you know you are coming and have a team, as only 8 teams will be allowed. Lists must be submitted 1 week before the tournament or teams will suffer game loss penalties for each late list
100% of entry fees are rolled back into prize support.
GW faq/errata
The INAT FAQ is an independant FAQ a panel of 40k player from many different areas put together to answer some of the questions GW doesn't. It can be found HERE.
*Note* we are using all GW materials first and THEN if theres no answer the INAT FAQ's answer. Any rule the INAT marks as [rules change] will not be used, as it means they went against the official GW rules.
*I know you guys are more familiar with ETC then most clubs, and will spot its not exactly the ETC format. Thats why we're calling it "ETC-Style"*
Anyways, ask the guys that came down how they liked our last tournament, the Rogue Trader, and know this tourney has no soft scores. If you dont have a team, no worry, Im sure plenty of players will be searching for a team soon and you can meet some great gamers to form a team.
Hope to see some of you there!
