Hello there, I'm from Buffalo and I'm looking to get some games in this weekend (Sat & Sun). Sadly, there's nothing really available around my location, so I was considering driving over to Rochester to get some games in.
I've been to Millenium for a tournament, but I'm not really sure when "open gaming" is at any of the store's. I've also heard of Boldo's but have not been there.

Saturday afternoon there is almost always at least 3 or 4 gamers around to play (unless a major tournament is going on nearby). If you want to make the mid week trip people play on Tuesday nights as well.
Having lived in Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse over the last 3 years it is my opinion that Rochester (specifically Millennium) has the richest gaming community I have seen (quality of players, quality of painting modeling, terrain, et cetera).

The big events this coming weekend are at SIMCON (http://www.simcon.org), which is a convention at U of R. Saturday their is a 40k tournament (teams I believe?) and an Apocalypse game. Sunday is a fantasy tournament.

Boldos usually has gamers on Sundays, although I'm not sure what the turn out is lately having not made it in a while.

Jesters has tue 40k day and fantasy on Monday's I know, I'm a regular there. I'm just not working during classes right now, so I have some free time on the weekend. I have a friend who goes to RIT and I can visit her and sleep over in her dorm, so it's a two birds kind of deal.

Yes I mean millenium. But I would have to be on a Saturday like maybe next Saturday. But I mean we all have lifes so it just takes a lil tweak on the scheduleing. So I really haven't been anywere to play but I'd like to play at millinum.

Just fyi, I'm planning on showing up around 2pm tomorrow.
Just waiting on a package to get delivered.
I'm thinking about bringing my buddy for some company on the ride and giving him some cash to play video games all day, will the Starcraft 2 tournament use up all the computers?
