I believe each army can only have one av14 vehicle regardless of status.

Wraithguard are in the codex as elites so cannot be taken as troops.

I know I can only have one A14 vehicle, what I was asking was does the battle wagon count as a heavy or dedicated transport since it is listed as both.

Has their been any final word on Smitty's question in regards to the battle wagon being counted as a dedicated or heavy choice?

I'm facing a similar choice with Chaos, I want to field 2 rhino's as my dedicated slots but I also want to run a land raider for my termies. The Land Raider normally fills a heavy slot but Termies can take it as a dedicated. Can I take it as a heavy and have the termies jump in it on turn 1?

Since this is supposed to be a fun and laid back event I may just run Necrons one last time before they get updated.... hmmmm

i cant say about what slot they will have to take, i assume if its listed under heavy as well as dedicated for some units then it should be whichever you want, its not actually a modification of the list if it is actually listed in both places....

@ grubnards even if it is heavy you would be able to deploy in the landraider, you only have to get in a vehicle first turn if its another units dedicated transport, at least im pretty sure...

With tau I have two questions.

Does the Shas'O and Shas'El Commanders count as seperate unit choices?

If they do can I give them both a bodyguard or just one?

going by the only limitation of hq's being 0-1 and no special chars, they are different so both would be allowed and would both be able to get bodyguards since they dont actually take up a slot on the FOC

of course i dont make the rules but as long as theres only a 0-1 you should be good

I'm not an official but pretty much agree.

Battlewagons should be ok as a DT or heavy as you can only have one either way.

Shasel and shaso have different statlines so I'd say you could take both, tho I think bodyguards would fall in the 0-1 category as they are not troops.

I managed to get tomorrow off so you mofos are goin down! Travis - I can bring two sets of terrain if you'd like.

Win=20 Tie:10 Loss:5
Painting was worth 25 (20 on painting 5 for conversions & display)
Each each favorite opponent vote was worth 5 pts for a max of 15pts.
Max points of 100pts.

Once again, thanks to Travis and Smitty for running a great event.

I had great matches against Mark, Kevin and Mike. "Evin" and I will need to have a grudge match at the next event to see who keeps the "k".

Overall my dice rolls were above par and I still think that if my Land Raider hadn't decide to get stuck in the rubble on turn 5 my termies could have contested that last objective and flipped a tie into a win...

are the new grey knights gunna be allowed in may's 2k ard boys event??? if so ill have to get some practice games in with mine as i have yet to even play with the new codex

yea i figured if they were legal a bunch would be using them, i also havent started painting yet but i plan to paint this army much better than i have my ig done, so it'll also probly be my GT army this year(i cant wait for this, last year was my first and was awesome)
