So does that mean you're only allowed one of each type of dedicated transport as well?

"You can't take anything that modifies force org to make non-troop units into troops."
So Orks are only allowed to take a Weirdboy as HQ? Warboss - allows one unit of (Mega)Nobz to be troops. Big Mek - allows one Deff Dred to be taken as troops.
Just looking for clarification.
Also Tyranids cannot take Termagants as they modify the force org chart: "The Scuttling Swarm: For every Termagant Brood included in your army, you can include one Tervigon as a Troops choice."

yeah so anything that makes it a troop it doesnt work so tervigons cant be troops or any HQ unit that would ordinary make something a troop now can within this tournment also any character that is named is also not allowed so like Arjac or the Doom of malatai but still whatever else is aloud like the avatar of Khaine. Also no Ork special guys that can be taken within the ork squads
Also to make things more clearer for transports you may only have up to 2 dedicated trasports so like you can only have 2 rhinos or 2 drop pods or a rhino and a drop pod or a razor back and a pod and so on like tyriands can only take 2 pods as well
you cant make somthing like a landraider a deicated trasport either it must remain as a heavy.

I am sure Travis will clarify on Tervignons and other force org modifiers. It is my understanding the goal is to prevent someone from circumventing the spirit of the rules by taking Belial (for example) and running an all Terminator army.
In the spirit of the rules maybe the following would work... --------------------------- 'Units that can only EVER be selected as troops are not 0 - 1'
Examples: If Mega-Nobz are taken as troops due to the presence of a Warboss, then another unit of Mega-Nobz may not be taken as an elites or Troops selection.
If a Tervignon is taken as troops due to the presence of Termagaunts, then another Tervignon may not be taken as an HQ or Troops selection. ---------------------------
Dedicated Transports 0 - 2 I took this to mean one could take 2 Rhinos, 2 Razorbacks and 2 Pods but it seems to be more general. I like the 'more general' interpretation.

Ok, if I'm right it's you can take a max of 2 Dedicated Transports Ex. 1 Rhino, 1 pod OR 2 Rhinos Or 2 pods.
As for the Hq modifying the army list just drop that part of the rules. EX. You can take a Ork Warboss but nobs cannot be taken as troops. Your Tervigons is then just HQ and HQ only

I would think you can take the war boss or big mek as an HQ but you can not modify the other selections to be troops so the mega nobz or deaf dreads could not be troops.
Again it is up to Travis hehe.

Whatever section the unit is listed under the codex as, is what it is staying. That goes for everything across the board. I think that's the easiest way to sum up what I am trying to do.
You can take an Orc Warboos or Big Mek. You just don't get the benefit of the force org modifications they provide.
Dedicated Transports - You can take two...total.

Is the Daemonhunter codex invalidated for use? I know the GK codex will be out for a week before this tourny, but it's normally a month before a a new codex is allowed to be used. Just want to know if I can use a DH inquisitor or if I have to use a Witchhunter one for my guard.

Daemonhunter codex is fine. New Grey Knights are not. A codex needs to be out for a month in order for it to be used. That said. Next month's 'Ard Boyz grey knights will be legal

For those that may be confused, you get two total dedicated transports. Not 2 drop pods, 2 rhinos and so on. You get two total.

How are you handling HQ slots allowing multiple models to be taken such as Heralds in the Daemon Codex or Hamaeculi in the Dark Eldar Codex? Is it one and done or would you be able to take multiple within the same slot?

I have two questions on this no force org changing rule: 1) does this count for dedicated transports too? Nobs can take a battle wagon as a dedicated transport other wise its a heavy. So are we counting battle wagons as heavies only? 2) If you take 10 wraithguard with a warlock they count as troops according to the codex, am I correct in assuming that we are overriding that rule?
