Looks like the WC won the team event with all blood angels.

It looks like Jay made the final 4, but I can't find any coverage that goes on after that. Anyway, Good job Jay!

Whoa, look at the sports score? If you remove that or put it even 10 points higher he is top 3. I have to wonder exactly what happened to merit that...

Yeah another reason I think player judged soft scores are bad. Someone wanted to punish him for winning.
Jay won "favorite opponent" at the lock-in. I doubt you could find someone that would call him a poor sport by any stretch.

This is the biggest problem with some of these major events. You can get dinged on sports for being in the top due to someone trying to protect a freind too. Not to say he did not have a bad game but I find more than one group at Adepticon that will ding scores to make their club top of the ladder.

I was looking into the sports scoring and it looks like you had to choose one of 3 options
1) Great game! - +10 Points 2) Good game. +0 Points 3) Bad game. +0 Points (if you get 3 of these, you can't get any prizes. From what's being reported, no one got more than 2 of these)
Kinda weird that a good game and bad game is weighted the same. I also feel weird about how much subjectivity can be used.

The low sports did not bother me. You were supposed to only get 10 points for if you had a really good game. I ended up taking 4th. my heart was not in the last game.

I was watching you live Jay and cheering for you. Those missed assaults blew but that is the way the dice go sometimes.
Great job guy and congrats on your ETC spot!

Given how close the scores were to one another though the sports scores as a binary really makes it tough to differentiate competitors fairly.
I guess when Jay was smashing faces with his nids no one really appreciated losing to a 'bad' codex...

Sports scoring may have been screw up because of the way the actual sheet was. When you were looking at the sheet it was a it read from top to bottom as Good, Great, and Poor, Also the Icon they used all kinda looked the same. I Know because when i was doing the team Tourny sheets I gave goods out thinking they were Greats.
Also Jay had the Quote of the weekend for me. During his second game of the finals
"You can leave now... seriously"
On another note the Da Boyz did have Not only the winner but second place finisher in the last event in the weekend.......Andy E.(Chrimthan, Crimsonthaaaaan, Christmas, I Don't know your stupid board name, butit could be Poker Champion now) And my self won the poker tournament, now its not 40k, but it was still a 69 man tournament and we did also walk away with some real nice loot, I got to knock out Jay. So next year were gonna head out to vegas and try our luck there.
