Well I already took the day off work for the tournament that got moved, so I'd still like to get a game or two in if possible.
I can do 1850 with GK or 2500 with Nids or 1750 in either for the ETC dudes. My place or any of the shops is fine. Lmk.

That's too late for me unfortunately. I need to stick to the original tournament window of 10am-6pm.

Do we know when the Magic event starts? We could probably meet up when the store opens and get in some of the game before the crowd rolls in.
Ideally I'd like to meet at your place but I will have Conner and his friend for the day so I figured that they could play the computers at MG while we are in the gaming room.
Let me know if that works better.

They open at 10 but idk when the magic event starts. I don't know if us 2nd rate customers will be allowed any space that might infinge on the card flippers either.

Kevin-
I can do tomorrow night at my place 6:30ish if that works for you. I think we should avoid MG unless we get special permission to use tables during the magic event.

Let's look at setting up something for next week. I'll PM you on Monday once I know what my schedule looks like.

I really hope the second rate customers comment was in jest but I didn't see an emoticon, an Lol or a JK. If you wanted a table to play on and gave me a phone call, then I would certainly make sure that you had space. IF it wasn't in jest I can PM you with the financials on the event and the impact that it has on my business versus what I make on a standard 40k event.
Again this was my fault on scheduling and I should have looked ahead of time and I didn't. The entire reason we run Warhammer events on the second Saturday of the month was to make sure this didn't happen. This is the first event in 3 years that I have had to move for any reason. Given the amount of premium events we run and the business I am in, that's pretty solid.
In the past, YU-GI-oh releases were on the first Saturday and Magic pre-releases/actual releases were the 3rd and 4th weekends of the month. Sorry that you had to take the day off. I will do my best in the future to give further notice if things need to change.

No worries Travis.
It's just frustrating to have to request days off a month in advance and get out of a vaccination clinic with my wife 2 weeks in advance, just to have the event cancelled 3 days in advance. I understand it's hard to make sound business decisions and keep your different customer demographics happy at the same time.

I certainly can feel for your situation. I agree it must suck to have to request days off a month in advance. Thankfully, I have never been in that situation. I am not sure what getting out of a vaccination clinic with your wife two weeks in advance means. I have no doubt the changing that is also annoying.
Also realize this doesn't help me either. If only lose your attendance because of the date change, I still lose some money. I would much rather have both of the events run without any issue. Unfortunately, I only have limited play space. Limited is a relative term for me given the size of other venues that host events.
I guess in the grand scheme of things that could happen to me that would be terrible, having a day off and not being able to play in a tournament that is held every month, wouldn't be at the top of my list. I still have the day off. I didn't lose any money for the event being moved. There will be another event.
Again I am sorry, I messed up and more then likely I will mess up again. I do the best I can to provide the community with a place to play on a consistent basis. Occasionally there are scheduling conflicts that occur and the priority will always be the event that puts more money in the drawer. It has nothing to do with a class structure for customer's. If I didn't like 40k, I wouldn't sell it. Given the small margin, issues with company, complaints from the customer's and other viable options for mini's, some days, I would rather not sell it. But I do like you guys a ton and do my best to give you consistent tourneys. So if you can't make this event due to the date change I will cover the cost of your next event.
