I was looking over some of the GW faqs and I remembered that Lash question that came up during Ard Boyz.
I just looked at the GW faq and they don't specifically address it (I thought that someone said it did). Anyway, I looked at INAT, and they specifically address the situation under Kharne's rule Faq. The unit doesn't move, but they can get pinned (if they aren't fearless).
I don't remember the exact circumstances, but I remember the situation being weird.

But that brings me to something else that may come up at the GT. Does Lash need a "to-hit" roll?
On the NO side, the codex is pretty clear about how the power goes down.
On the YES side, INAT categorized Lash as a Psychic Shoot Attack (PSA) and now days PSAs need a to-hit roll.
To me, the INAT ruling is doesn't count because they classified lash as a PSA before GW said that all PSAs now need to roll-to-hit. I think it's a release schedule issue that hasn't been cleared up. A YES ruling would be based on a FAQ, and not on a codex.
Thought I'd bring it up.

Lash does not need to hit. You can find the INAT here. www.dakkadakka.com/s/up/INATFAQv5.0.1.pdfhere is the ruling: ◊CSM.88E.04 – Q: Does Lash of Submission require the psyker to make a ‘to hit’ roll to successfully use it? A: No [clarification]. Ref: DA.39D.03, ELD.28F.03, SW.37H.07

Thanks Jay.
