Malifaux league...

Alright folks, I have been working on putting together a Malifaux league for a bit. At this point, I have most of the details hammered out, but the one big sticking point I have come up against is when to hold it. I would like to avoid running at the same time as the 40k league, but if we wait until the 40k league is completely ended, the Malifaux league would run past the end of the college school year, thus excluding any college students. My thought would be to start the Malifaux league during the last month of the 40k League (so somewhere in February). This minimizes the overlap, but still wraps up the Malifaux league before or in early May.

Essentially, I am looking for input from the players. What would your preference be? As soon as I get some feedback, the dates will get set an all the information will be posted. Let know what you think.

As much as I would enjoy playing in a Malifaux league, I think it will have to wait until the escalation painting league is over. Even a small overlap is too much to manage, especially since the last few weeks always become crunch time when painting in escalation.

I would fully support a Malifaux league but only if it is run after the 40K escalation is over.

Alright. Let me put it this way. If I make it so the college kids can join in, how many of them will?

Dorian, I could use some input from you on this.

If I don't hear anything in the next few days, I'll go for after the 40k league. If I hear that quite a few college kids would join in, then I'll go with some overlap. Either way, the details, including dates, will go up on Friday.

Ill get in touch with people & see how many would be interested. The only day that is always bad for me is Tuesday after 8. If we can get at least 6 people I can get some support from wyrd on this also for tournamnets / painting contests if we have them at the end.
