So, amongst my other projects, I've been working on some Necrons. After a false start, I seem to have settled on a paint-scheme I like. I wanted something kind of bright and colorful, but also age/battle worn and beat up looking. Let me know what you think.

Looks good but that isn't a Malifaux piece is it?
I like the weathering and oxidation on the gun, nice job.

Malifaux is the reason these guys aren't going to be an army very soon. This one is the first test model. I have four more mostly done, and a scarab I used to figure the color scheme, and that is it.
Ramos and company are the main focus on my table. I'll be posting pictures of them soonish.

Nice work. A lot of time must have gone in to make the weathering. I like the kneeling pose too.

I can't take credit for the pose. I got this army second hand from a friend and he had done several conversions.
Parts of the weathering are time consuming, but other parts are quite fast. The gun and joints are actually very easy to pull off. It's the chipped paint on the blue that eats up so much time.

Nice looking paint scheme. Back when I started the bulk of my necron army i wasnt confident in my skills to cut up and reposition the models. Nice effect on the barrels too.
