Rules- Had some, but people spoke and now were listening
When- (up for debate)
Length- see above and this post
Cost- $25 or maybe $75 now,or maybe $100, we will see by weeks end.
So, what would be a good time to start this, painting is involved but not the "Main Attraction" so to say, more of a kill each other league. we would need 11 total weeks, if you don't make the play-off then only 8.
Do we start after DaBoyz like this year? do we start right after 6Th ed comes out. Lets hear it

if your taking suggestions, I'd love to see some apocalypse games played:) I know I had to drop out of the painting league (class on tuesday nights started in january), but it would be a lot of fun to have some larger battles. I'm not a fan of the sub 1500 point games, and most of the last league was just that.

While I personally wouldn't mind an Apocalypse game now and again a league of Apocalypse is more than likely going to be unintentionally exclusionary. especially when you take into account the painting factor that was mentioned.
Is this going to be escalation or several weeks of same point values round robin?

What the hipster convinced you to play Dystopian wars? Pushing off the Orks again? Not to mention this should be in the specialty games section not under 40k.

A game the hippy hipster has been trying to get us to play. Plus I couldn't believe you were try to run another 40k league since you dropped out of the last one you ran!

Divisions may be too ambitious depending on what participation you're anticipating. The last league probably had 8 or less players that started, finished, and played every game at every level. With 4 divisions, that would be 2 players per.
If you started it in august or september, it would be a means to get everyone comfortable with the new rules by the time DaBoyz GT comes around.
What about a team league where players can make their own teams of 3 or 4 players and each team can play 8 games per period.

Add to the Andy character assassination or give feed back on the league idea...
I like the team idea, it would give us a solid change to playing the same 1v1 style over and over.
I'll make fun of the hippy hipster that is Andy "Soul-Lotus" Ehnot later

The league is going to be broken down into 4 divisions (Think football) I thought you Canadians only thought of Hockey. The team approach could be an interesting change to the standard league format that we have been playing in the last few years. I just hope I'm not the fat kid who gets picked last...

I like the idea of an ATC style team league. Might help to encourage people to play more if they have a team who is dependent on them. Maybe a draft at the beginning with captains to pick teams, idk.
And no Apoc, if you want a game get some friends together and go play one, it's too long and random to belong in tournaments/leagues.

What about a risk-style narrative league where each team can attack 2 "territories" and defend 2 per period. The team with the most territory at the end wins. Could draw up a star chart or planetary map to track weekly battles. Kevin, I would pick you first. Ben just make it so jay, courtney, and shaun can't be on the same team
