Screw the penalties. The event was advertised for 5 months as ToS/33-33-33 which had no penalties last year. The format was changed less than a month from the event. If you're the only sisters player and fully painted, the bonus points should negate the penalties.
This will be the last 5th ed tournament for many of us so bring whatever you want I say. Why finish out the edition with regrets for not playing what you really wanted.

Since this tournament is only 1500 points, I think making a decent SoB list is possible without taking too many penalties. The only one I would take is the one for three dedicate transports and I would run this...
Confessor - Combi-Melta, Eviscerator
-Conclave w/ 3x Crusaders, 6x DCA in Rhino w/ Dozer
Canoness - Eviscerator, Combi-Melta
-Command Squad w/ 3x MM
Troops
SoB squad - Tri-Flamer in Rhino

Fast (-2 Doms, -4 Triplicate transports)
5x Dominions w/ Flamers in Immolator w/ Multi-Melta
10x Seraphim w/ Twin Hand Flamers
Heavy
Exorcist
Rets w/ 4x Heavy Bolter
Remember, most opponents are going to be short on transports as well and this list has some pretty good flexibility.

Chris took 1st overall not me hehe. We had the same painting scores and battle points going into game #3. After an intense game, we both won our primaries (I chose objectives and Chris chose KP's). Chris drew his seconday and I lost mine, so we were 3bp's apart. That, and his comp score was 7pts higher than mine hah.
Anyways, good times and fun event. I also wish more people would start showing up. Last month was 10 and this month was 7. I think we still need a bunch for next week's lock-in as well. Would be nice to get back to 20+ like last year and the year before.
