Like a good number of players, chaos were my first army in 40k, a time when Iron Warriors wrecked most things and customization was at a high ...enter my interest in world eaters and black legion whether it was a red combat monster or a typical black and gold csm, I enjoyed playing what felt like the fluff describe. Fast forward to the rumored 5th ed streamlining the rules for 40k and the days of "overpowered" armies being over...and we have the current CSM Codex, a pisspoor bland, weak set of rules..now obviously it seems as the Masterminds at GW decided to streamline the game for this edition which has left me hoping that Chaos rises back to prominence because hell it could very well save a game that is on the decline

I hear ya brother. Played Chaos since 2nd edition here. I remember when the Iron Warrior were a white dwarf army list. Those were the good old days. Seen good, seen bad and seen Hella Ugly. I am sort of excited to see the new Dex they have planned out for us. Im hoping for new legion rules, new characters and a fun but balanced codex. Its time to strap on the steel and get the furnaces going again!

Amen, glad Phil Kelly is the mastermind behind this one, im hoping for some solid rules, especially some legion rules, that would be a much appreciated throwback. Prolly gonna have to get the red paint ready, dust of Kharne and get ready to fist some slaaneshi worshippers. Kill!Maim!Burn!
