Came up in my game with Terry last night. It did not affect the outcome but we would like to find an official answer.
We played the "big guns" mission where heavys become scoring. I move my night spinner over to an objective on Terry's side. Terry had the objective near the 12" deployment line so my Night spinner was only 25% in the deployment zone.
Linebreaker says that as long as a model from the unit is in the deployment zone then the unit counts as being in. Since my vehicle was not fully in the deployment zone would i have or have not gotten the linebreaker vp?
I would think yes but we were looking for something something concrete.
Also, does the independent character no longer roll 3d6 for moving in cover when on their own? We looked over the ic page but did not see where it says they get mtc.

Unqustionalby yes in my opinion...unless you are playing me...then unquestionalby no The way it is written it does not state "wholly in the enemy deployment zone". In this instance I would say yes.

I was surprised to see the change to IC's as well, they do not come with it now. Probably due to how some USR are conferred to a unit - plus MTC now does something totally different than last edition.
