Any help is appreciated. If we can get extra tables up and running we are going to try and designate an area for open gaming. We are going to reserve one table for the judges to get some games in between round's. I know I need the experience

yes, Jeff is right. Please note that we will only be using the "Primary" objectives portion from the rulebook in all cases.

I have a quick question, I know the GT has a painting score and what not, but is a fully painted army a requirement to play in the GT?

I ws trying to find anything on our website and we don't have it listed that the army be fully painted. I know in the past this was a requirement. Is the army at least primed? Are there any elements that could be touched up real quick (ie paint the helmets or shoulderpads, etc)? I guess we would rather not have "grey" plastic armies if at all possible.

New rules question related to the GT. I have seen a lot of debate (I also asked this in the rules section a while ago) about the Daemons update and the Daemon USR as it relates to Codex Chaos Daemons.
First Question: Do Soul Grinders get the 5++ save for being a Daemon?
Second Question: What save do Flamers/Screamers have?
No save is listed in the update - the Daemon USR gives them a 5++ but the Daemon codex rule turns their nonexistent save to an invulnerable save.
I just want to be sure I play this consistently and avoid any kind of argument.

We talked about this at the store the other day but I haven't covered it with the other judges. I will get an email out and we will have a discussion. I am also going to reach out to the games workshop rules judges just to get their thoughts.
Based on what I can tell with RAW - they would follow the rules in the Deamon codex and as such would retain the eternal warrior rule but would not have any armor/invulnerable saves.

Beat me to the punch on this one. Also to add on...
Q: Do models chosen from Codex: Chaos Daemons and / or the White Dwarf, August 2012, Codex: Chaos Daemons official update have the Daemon special rule from the Warhammer 40,000 Rulebook, or do they have the Daemon army special rule from Codex: Chaos Daemons? (p27) A: All models from Codex: Chaos Daemons and/or the White Dwarf, August 2012, Codex: Daemons official update have the Daemon army special rule listed in Codex: Chaos Daemons with the addition of the Fear special rule from the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook and a 5+ invulnerable save.
This means Soul Grinders do get a 5++ save as well.

That answers that. Its funny, that entry wasn't there just the other day when I looked and I actually sent a question in to the "rules boyz" just earlier. I wonder if this update may have been in regards to my question? Probably it is in response to the Feast of Blades inquiries however.
Either way, we have a concrete answer to go by.

Newb alert:
I'm unsure what the victory points refer to for missions 2 and 5. I pieced together the kill points and table quarters, but as I don't have 5th edition rulebook I don't know how those vp's work
Thanks

If your talking about what I think you are, victory points you count up the points you killed of the enemies(units at half strength or fleeing count as half i think?) army, and vice versa compare the numbers and if you killed 200pts+ more of his army than your opponent did of your army you win that objective
breakdown: you kill my unit of 10 firewarriors, thats 100 pts you wreck my vendetta, thats 130pts(i think) you kill half of another 10 man firewarrior squad, thats another 50pts(since full cost is 100pts) every other unit of mine is above half strength
I dont even scratch any of your units so get 0 victory points(wishful thinking on your part ;D ;D)
you- 280 victory points me- 0 victory points
since the margin is greater than 200pts you win the objective, if it were less than 200pts objective is a draw
edit: on a side note I really like the mission set-up for the GT this year, each mission has objective based objectives(some have 2 with an emporers will objective) , unit destruction objectives, and dynamic objectives(ala table quarters/linebreaker) in addition there are extra points for first blood
