My guess is Ron and C4, but I don't have the actual results and am relying on leaky memory. Eric was doing really well, but had to drop out. Not sure who would be next since Ron already qualified - possibly Terry.

Wow... 12th out of 76, good job Aaron!! Would have been interesting to see where Erich would have finished if he did not have to leave early.
I also see Chris P got 11th out of 61 in Fantasy while Nogle was dead last ; Actually, I came in dead last for battle points with a whopping 19, so I guess that makes me the bottom bytch.

Kevin Thanks Kevin. I really screwed up on painting. I was playing with my son Sunday morning because I hadn't seen him awake in 2 days and when I showed up at 9am, there was no room to set up and many people had already voted. The challenge mechanic also cost me 15pts over the weekend. I'm definitely still learning 6th ed and need to think over challenges more. Overall it was really fun, more than I expected without comp. Then again, I didn't have to play any of the necron airforce lists or the flamer spammers. Erich definitely would have placed above me if his wife didn't pwn him on Sunday. Watch out for his revenge at the invitational!

Thanks Kevin. I really screwed up on painting. I was playing with my son Sunday morning because I hadn't seen him awake in 2 days and when I showed up at 9am, there was no room to set up and many people had already voted. The voting by the players was just for Theme not painting. Jay, Courtney, Paul, Ben, Andy, and myself picked the top ten and top three painted armies. I had 15 people set up for the top 10 on Sunday since several of the top scores didn't paint their own army so they weren't eligible for the bonus points and there were several ties for army painting in the top 15 which is why several of you were asked to set up Sunday. The judges by committee narrow the top 15 to the top 10 (8 bonus pts) and then the top 3 (an additional 12 bonus pts). As for the Rubric in the first 60 pts the highest score I gave out was a 50/60. So high 30s to low 40s were really good paint scores this year. Only ten people were eligible for 8 bonus points and only 3 were eligible for the additional 12 bonus points.

Out of curiosity - since I was in the top 15, were those 8 points included in my paint score or did my dropping on Saturday lose those?
It was more my own little bio titan that took me down after spending the day working on her mother.
Also, how was sportsmanship scored overall? I did a quick look and could not find a formal system. I assumed it was points for 1-6 votes: as in a 1st plate vote is worth say 6, then 5 and so on.

I must not have been in the top 10 either then looking at the painting score.

There were no points for top 15 only top 10 and top 3 so you guys didn't get any bonus points. I don't know the exact point for Sportsmanship but at the end you were to rank your opponents 1-6, 1 being the best 6 being the worst. Since it was out of 60 pts each rank of 1st was worth 10pts and then lower from there down to 6th which was either 1 or 0 pts.

Thanks for the clarification Smitty - maybe a formal scoring rubric for these would be good for next year. That way the burden of explanation does not fall on you.
