1850, the normal standard book mission painting is based on the look of the army and all aspects will be taken into account. There is no rubric purely my opinion. So no automatic points just cause you have a display board. Bringing a display board can be positive or negative depending on the quality, same can be said for conversions.

I built a set to donate to the store for tournament use (open play too if y'all are gentle with it) and I plan to bring it tomorrow. synaps3.blogspot.com/2012/12/jungle-table-30.htmlI can bring additional terrain if necessary. Konrad said Garrett won't be able to make it and I'm sure a couple others will be absent, so it should be pretty easy to figure out how many we will need.

Thanks to Travis for putting on the event and to Smitty for running it.
My first game was against Craig (beef & wing) Craig ran a brutal CSM/Daemon allies with Epydermus. I got tabled by end of turn 4.
Game 2 was against Kemp and his Orks. A much closer game that came down to him winning by an extra point. Poor movement on my part allowed him to assault Eldrad and get the Slay the Warlord point. Very fun game overall.
Game 3 was against Bill (beef & wing) Bill ran a tooled up deathwing list. We played big guns and multiple objectives. Bill ended up holding 3 objectives to my 2. Plus he got slay the warlord due to eldrad suffering a perils wound trying to doom his termies.
Overall a fun day.
Courtney (grey knights) took 1st Erich (daemons) took 2nd Jay (grey knights) took 3rd Beef & Wing Bill (deathwing) took best sports/paint Kevin (eldar) took second sports/paint

Smitty thanks for running a great event. We can discuss ad nauseum the scoring setup for events - but I like that you posted it up, explained it clearly and stayed consistent throughout.
Thanks to Travis for making Millenium a great center for a gaming community and for putting on the event.
I took pictures so I will post up them up at the Mandulian Chapel, but a quick synopsis is:
Game 1: Nogle with his Blood Angels - Purge the Alien with Hammer and Anvil made this one a losing proposition. Highlight of the game was a failed Daemonette charge made possible by his 1 overwatch wound!
Game 2: Paul with his Grey Knights - Vanguard Strike and Emperor's Will. I won first turn and with the table we had there was very little cover so the Screamers, Flamers, Grinders did a lot of damage. My poor objective placement meant it was close Turn 4 and 5 as his outflanking purifiers and Dreadknight were making a mess of my backfield. Highlight of the game was an autocannon dread kicking 5 of 6 Bloodcrushers to death.
Game 3: Jay with his Grey Knights. He had the perfect deployment to Warp Quake the whole board and had Turn 1. In a masterful display of skill I rolled a 6 to Seize. Unfortunately he had Coteaz, so I rolled another 6 to Seize and the Alpha Strike on his flank was brutal. Highlight of the game was...well it was the Seize which made it possible for me to deploy in the first place.

that overwatch shot was one of my highlights of the day (went 0-3). Had another where i almost killed a dreadnight on overwatch with a devestator squad in game 3, he only needed to fail one more save.
im gonna figure out his edition at some point. maybe its time to bring out the eldar, or allies.

Wow, didn't even know I qualified, sorry for not showing. Didn't think I did that well in the GT. I guess I need to check this board a little more often. Sounded like a great event. I'll try again for next year and pay more attention to this board Dan
