Greetings,
Are there any rules about how much painted a force has to be to be used at the grand tournament? Obviously the models need to be assembled, but do they have to be painted?
Someone please answer me before the GT!

I do not think there is a requirement. It is normally courtesy to at least have a basecoat on the models - playing great looking armies is part of going to a GT.
That said I am guilty of not being able to get it all done last year, so do your best.

I also consider that having fully painted armies is a huge part of the hobby we are involved in. Along with having pretty, painted terrain it really brings it all to life. Sadly, my latest crazy painting spurge just ended. I painted most of about 7 armies at once, so I am sooo worn out now! Thank you for the answer. Have a nice day, see you at the tourney! |

You are suppose to have a painted army for the GT but you still will be able to compete if it is not fully painted. I will say that you will be forfeiting 60-80 pts in painting toward your overall score by not having a fully painted army.

I am aware of the painting points, I just did not see anything at all on the website about there being rules banning unpainted models. That is all. Thanks man. |
