The first tourney of the year is THIS SATURDAY! Try and bring a friend we want this year to be the biggest yet. Last year was a down year with the anticipation of the new edition, but now we should all be familiar with the rules and ready to fight it out

I would definetly come to the one this saturday. 1850 points. some tips: 1) shot to be there at 9:30am. get in and get your army out of the case. lots of people have display boards they made, but start with something easy, find a big box top or something that you can set up your army on and carry it from table to table. you dont want to have to unpack and then repack for each game. 2) make sure you print up, read and bring the latest versions of the FAQs for the rulebook and your army(armies if bringing allies). you can find them here: www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?categoryId=600005&pIndex=1&aId=3400019&multiPageMode=true&start=23) look at armies before the first game and in between games, find something you like and strike up a conversation with the owner. it's the easiest icebreaker ever. 4) either bring a lunch or bring money. there is usually a half hour to 45 minutes for a lunch break after game 1. there is a nick tahoes across the street and many other places within a 5 minute drive (mighty taco, mcdonalds, chipotle, etc..) 5) not sure how good you are with the rules, playing in a time limit. i would suggest for 1st tourney, take an elite force. you have less models and then also have less rules to remember and can play quicker. dont bring an ork/tyranid horde of over 100 models, you will never finish a game. 6) bring 4 copies of your army list. 1 for you, and one for each of your 3 opponents. 7)remember............ .......this is supposed to be fun!!!!! have it!
