Question about the March team event: teammates can bring any army regardless of the codex ally chart correct? Example: CSM + SM?
And the 2000pt april event is 1 force org or 2?

March: Adepticon Style team Tourney, Brothers in arms (both adepticon & rule book), 2 person teams, 1000 pts each, must have a partner, modified force org. , Painting judge by me, Adepticon Primer missions. Each teammate can pick one force org but you both can't pick the same: ....... April: Ard boyz style slug fest, straight battle points, I will be pulling out some old ard boyz missions, 2,000 pts! Yes two force org are allowed per the 40k rule book.
See above, so yes the standard 40k allies matrix does affect how your units react to your partners army. As questions have been asked I update the main post.

Using both versions of the brother in arms rules doesnt exactly clarify if the event will use the chart, and if it does mean that does that mean nid players are excluded from the event?
But i take it as you just get all benefits for using 1 codex or combos listed as brothers in arms in the rulebook

That's what I was trying to verify. I know partners using the same codex can share benefits, transports, and abilities (or whatever). Just wanted to know if all army combo's are allowed between partners, as long as they give up the "brothers in arms" benefits.

But i take it as you just get all benefits for using 1 codex or combos listed as brothers in arms in the rulebook Since you must bring a partner for this event, if you and your Partner both bring Nids then Nids ARE NOT excluded from this event. Are they limited more than other Armies, YES but you can blame GW for that. Yes people armies will benefit from same codex or brothers in arms per the rule book. I will gladly answer specific rules questions via PM. This event is set up as a practice event for teams going to Adepticon from our area.

Team can be comprised of any combination of codexs you only fallow the ally chart when it comes to shared abilitys between temates . So in that aspect the nids are sorta on there own . But when it
comes to things like special cheractors and there abilitys everone cant take belial or samiel but one partner can take one of them then the other members of your team that are useing dark angels can
count terminators and or raven wing as troops. Thats really the only thing allies does in the team tournament. Also each team member list can only come from one codex an individual team member cannot
take an allies detachment in there own army. The force org. is on the adepticon site if anyone is confused on the break down .

Question, for the tournament on February 2nd is the 0-1 restriction on the slot (i.e. only one fast attack choice may be taken), or is it on the unit (i.e. no duplicate space marine assault squads)?

Pretty sure it is 0-1 by units, not slots - so yes, no duplicate space marine assault squads.

The 0-1 restriction is on types of units not force org slots. So you can have 3 fast attack choices but they can not be the same unit (i.e. 0-1 Assault squads, 0-1 landspeeders, 0-1 storm talons)

Late question but will the new Dark Angels codex be able to be used for this Saturdays tournament or is the 30 day requirement still in effect?
