Is painting factored in overall score?
Are missions straight from the book, modified, or custom?

I'll be there. I'll probably be the only beef and winger though

You should have made it out Kevin. Aaron and I were against each other first round, and only after we were like, "crap, we should have called him."
I went 2-0-1 for the overall win with my Nids. I've been trying to run a Prime lead list, so no Tyrants or Swarmlords. Turns out freeing up 200-300 points puts a lot of bodies on the field.
A black Templar player got the softscore award.
Game 1 was against Aaron w/ Grey Knights. I think he'll batrep it on the blog. I got first blood, but he got linebreaker. Niether of us got Warlord. We both controlled 2 objectives for a big ol tie. The tie doesn't properly reflect Aaron's low rolls. He had 2 units 1inch away from 2 objectives. Making either of those would have put him over. Yay! Win by luck!
Game 2 was against Ron and his Chaos. The terrain helped a lot on this one. I jumped my shrikes in to take out 2 CSM squads and things went downhill from there. His leadership rolls were pretty bad too. Out of 5 leadership rolls, he only made 1. It was the mission where objectives had different values, and my tervigon spawned every turn. nuff said.
Game 3 was against Nogle's Eldar. In the last game against Mike, I stole the initiative and I did it again! The mission was Relic, and I nabbed it early. Nogle almost had first blood, I spawned a 5 man unit of Termagaunts to grab the relic. They were in front of my army surrounded by a few hormugaunts. Mike shot his entire force at them, but after night fight and cover saves, 1 survived. By turn 3 we called it. My trygon and ymgarls were in his backfield, and I hadn't lost a unit. Now I'm 2 and 2 against Beef N Wing's big dog.
It was a cool, relaxed day.

I wish I could have made it but had family plans all weekend. Looks like i'll be missing the January event at MG as well due to family. Otherwise I plan on getting out in February.
Keep me posted on any 40k or wfhb events coming up in your area in the near future. Would be nice to play orcs n gobbos again.
