Google an image of something like what you're looking for and send me the link or image. Hyv3mynd@gmail.com. I'll let you know if I can attempt it or not.

Since ive gotten my airbrush I've tried my hand at flames and I've been happy with them. The issue is not on small scale, I'll have to give it a shot on something model sized(looks at primed eldar and drools)

Go to Hobby Lobby and get a Fiskers template. Google helldrake flames and you will see a youtube vid on how some guys did it. If you can not find the Fiskers template then go to Dans Crafts, go to the RC section, and you will find painters templates that we used to use when I raced RC. You can use them as both positive and negative templates. I used the negative when I painted the flames on the Stormraven that Doug bought before I left.

Hey Terry, were you thinking about something like this: www.coolminiornot.com/323198?browseid=4663254Just the flame part. If so, you may be able to get similar results using spray cans and a sticky flame cutout. I've been thinking about doing something similar (though the example I used is a bit over the top).

That was done with a net template and the fiskers template both of which can be found at Hobby Lobby.
Good Luck!!
