Hello,
I have had a couple of questions regarding the team tournament. I will post the ones I have received so far, if you have any questions please feel free to reply to this or PM me if you want to. I will try to reply as soon as I can.
Q1: If both teammates have drop pods, does each teammate get half of their pods turn #1, or is it half of the team's total number of drop pods?
A1:Each team is comprised of two armies, if both contain drop pods, each army is treated as an separate army in regards to the number of drop pods using the drop pod assault rule
Q2: What can be taken from Forge World?
A2: Forge World / Imperial Armor units bearing the "40k Approved" stamp are allowed in this Doubles event. All FW unit entries are considered 0-1
Q3:Is it possible that one half of the coalition could be placed in reserve to start the game?
A3: No, as far as reserves are concerned each army is considered a separate force.
*New codex / supplements will be allowed as long as it follows the 30 day rule.
Q4: Are the 'experimental' forgeworld pdf's with the 40K stamp on them are allowed in the doubles tournament?
A4: No

1) can Iyanden teams still select a wraithknight or Wraithlord as Warlord?
2) are the missions going to include any objectives that a troop from each player must be controlling together to have it count, or will all objectives be just any 1 troop from either teammate?

LordNurgle:
1.) Yes, it can as long as it follows the following rules per the doubles tournament:
"Your team's Warlord can be from either detachment, but is always the HQ choice character within that detachment with the highest Leadership. If several characters are tied for highest Leadership, you can choose among them as normal."
2.)The missions will be up shortly, but in all cases to hold something (objective or tables quarter) a unit from both detachments will be needed.

just to clarify, so we don't bring an illegal army. the rule book states:
"This is always the HQ choice character with the highest leadership. If several Characters are tied for the highest leadership, you choose among them which is your warlord"
you guys added the parts about detachments
Your team's Warlord can be from either detachment, but is always the HQ choice character within that detachment with the highest Leadership. If several characters are tied for highest Leadership, you can choose among them as normal."
the Iyanden books states under the Heroes of Iyanden rule
"When choosing an Iyanden Army, you may choose a single Wraithlord or Wraithknight model in your army to be your Warlord, even though it is not an HQ choice"
I would think since your rule is right out of the rulebook, the heroes of Iyanden rule would still be in effect for the team tourney and we could pick a Wraithlord or Wraithknight as our Warlord.

I don't see a problem with that.

I think you need to clarify what the team/army consists of.
ie "one per army" items, such as Tau Signature systems or Daemonic Gifts - Can there be multiples?

if both detachments in the army are from the same codex all unique 0-1 items apply to the army

some recent questions:
1) If a team consists of 2 daemon armies, how do we handle rolling for the warp storm table?
-Roll once on the table.
2) What happens if the warp storm table results in the creation of a new unit (either a new troop unit or a new herald)?
-Which ever the army contains the Warlord is considered the beneficiary of new units.
3) If a unit is created in game by some other means directly attributable to one player's unit, is that unit then "owned" by that player.
-Units created are assigned to the army that created them.
4) For the purpose of rolling on the warlord traits tables, if a model has a pre-assigned warlord trait, can that model still make a single roll and then choose between the roll and his/her preassigned trait?
-If you have a pre-assigned warlord trait you must use that trait, the additional roll is forfeit.
