• All players must have the following to participate:
- Army List
- Rulebook
- Codex
- Any additional rules and/or FAQ’s
General Rules:
• All players must have their army list with them. All army lists will be checked by the Tournament Organizer by the end of round #1.
• If any illegal units and/or rules violations are found in a player’s list, at the minimum, the models and/or units in violation will be removed from all subsequent play. Also, tournament points may be deducted and/or the player may be removed from the tournament. If a player is found to have models and/or units in violation & they are removed, all of their opponents throughout the tournament will be credited with Victory Points for the unit(s).
• Cheating will not be tolerated. Cheating affects the quality of the experience for all of the players & creates a significant disruption for everyone involved in the tournament. Proof of cheating will lead to forfeiture from the tournament without refund and possible ban from future events.
• Quitting will not be tolerated. Quitting affects the quality of experience for all of the players & creates a significant disruption for everyone involved in the tournament. If a player decides to leave/quit a tournament early for any illegitimate reason, no refund will be proved and that player will not be allowed to participate in the following month’s tournament.
• Please make sure that all models in your army are easily identifiable to your opponent. Counts as models may be used, but your opponent must be made aware as to what the unit is.
• Power Weapons – In any case where a model is armed with one or more Power Weapons, you must model the weapon to the appropriate type (sword, axe, maul, lance, etc…). Also, in your army list, it must be noted what Power Weapon type the model is equipped with.
Terrain & Fortifications:
• All Fortifications listed in the Warhammer 7th Edition Rulebook & Stronghold Assault Expansion are allowed.
• Any building over 6 inches tall counts as impassible. Typically buildings will not be this tall, but levels beyond 6” inches will count as impassible.
• Terrain will be preset on all tables but is not fixed.
• Fortifications placed on the table may not be within 3” of another piece of terrain.
• You are allowed to slightly shift terrain so it is a minimum of 3” away from a fortification.
o If you are using a larger Fortification and cannot fit the model on the table, let the Tournament Organizer know and they will adjust the terrain for you to accommodate your Fortification.
• If you are running any Fortification in your army, you must have the actual Fortification model or an acceptable WYSIWYG conversion of the Fortification that is the same dimensions as the model it is representing. Also any conversions must be approved by the Tournament organizer prior to the event.
Forgeworld & Heresy:
• Forgeworld and Horus Heresy units and/or army lists will be allowed in this event.
• Restrictions (the following are not allowed):
o Strategic Assets, Stratagems, etc…
o Units labeled as “Apocalypse Only”
o Units with “Experimental Rules”
• Taking Forgeworld units in an army does not count against the number of sources for your army, however, if you are using a Forgeworld army list or formation, then it will count as a detachment.
• If you are using a Forgeworld or Horus Heresy unit and/or army list, you must have all the rules and faq’s for them with you.
• Any rules anomalies and inconsistencies that occur within the Heresy rulebook being used in standard 40k will be ruled in favor in accordance with the Warhammer 40k rulebook.
