Anyone gonna be around? I should be in town and available to play. I'd like to check out Boldo's in any case.

Saturday we usually are at Millenium Games playing 40K. Stop by for an asskicking, either that or we can put you in one of the windowlicker's games! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Millenium is easier to get to methinks. It's how I found this place at least. I'll have to figure out which army/list to bring. How many points do y'all usually play? And what time do the games start?

At millennium point values are usually multiples of 500. 2000 is a safe bet. From my experience, games are called together at noon, players finish placing units of the boards around 1:30. Turn 2 starts around 3:00, and all the kiddies have to go home around 6:00, thus short circuiting any games in progress that they are involved in. My advice would be to start a game solely with people who own and drove their own cars.

Nice James, but you forgot a few things...
2:45-3:15 Willy is caught cheating. When confronted with the rules he claims ignorance.
5:00 Mommy comes to pick up NightLord who usually leaves about half his army on the table after a well spent day of fondllng other peoples dice.
Like James said if you want a serious game try to avoid the kids. We enjoy playing them from time to time, but if you are looking for anything resembling 6 turns, group games with the kids just aint it.

Now I have to figure out what I'm bringing.
Only problem is that I build my lists to 1850...Of course, if everything isn't painted, that opens up alot of new tactical options.

Mike, it was nice to get a game in. i hope we can get a 1 vs 1 in the short future.
One quick question, on what page in the rule book where a MC can shout anything. No leadership test.
I might need it this weekend.

'Monstrous creatures enjoy the advantage of being able to automatically pass the Leadership test required to target enemy units other than the closest.'
