ok, most people play with marine armies so there for i would have to agree that the T4 thing, but lets not forget about living ammunition wich allows him to re-roll for wounding. If by average hes rolling 24 shots, he'll hit with 12. up against T4, he wounds on 5's he'll wound with 4. He re-rolls with 8, wounds with another 2 - 3 equalling 6 wounds. so... if they are T 4 he still averages half his hits! And god forbid he comes across an army with T3!

He is the new list. I think it will play better.
Tell me what you think.
One comment about Raveners. Ravener Might be the best unit in Nid Book. When they hits something it is nasty. A squad of six. It has 30 attacks on the charge. On average they should roll 6 rending attacks. This is one of units that it does not matter what you charge. You are going to kill it.

JAY, ALWAYS TAKE FLESH HOOKS FOR THE BIG GUYS, ONLY 1 point PER CARNEFEX AND 4 point PER HIVE TYRANT. THE BIG HEAVIES ALMOST ALWAYS ATTACK INTO COVER,WHICH IS BETTER (THAT MAKES IT SIMO.) INSTEAD OF INITIATIVE 1 or 2 OUT OF COVER, YOU'RE GOING LAST. PLUS IMPASSIBLE TERRAIN & DANGEROUS TERRAIN BECOME DIFFICULT TERRAIN, (YOU CAN ENTER & HIDE WITHOUT BEING PURSUED). SO:3 CARNEFEXES WITH FLESH HOOKS,PLUS THE WINGED HIVE TYRANT IS 1850 points EVEN. FIND 6 MORE POINTS FOR THE HIVE TYRANT & 2 GUARDS, (PEOPLE WILL MAKE YOU ATTACK THEM IN COVER WITH THIS UNIT). CIAO!

I couldn't disagree more. The ONLY time that it makes a difference if you are 'last' vs. being 'simul' is if your opponent actually kills off the Tyranid that turn. If that is going to happen, then you shouldn't charge anyway. Flesh Hooks are a waste of points on big bugs.

To say that they are a waste of points is a little over the top! they are only 1 point for carnifex's and for there initiative being low, he being to strike simultaneously actually makes it better for him. Also it treats all impassible terrain as difficult. I thinks thats worth 1 point!

No, it does NOT make it any better, unless the Carnifex is actually killed, which is extremely unlikely (and you wouldn't charge if you thought that, anyway). In *both* cases (with or without), the Carnifex and his opponent both get in the same amount of hits.
