Epistolary (Termie armor, SB, Fear/Fury, Furious Charge) 4 Termies (2 Assault Cannons, Furious Charge)
3x8 man Tactical Squads (Las/Plas, True Grit, Vet w/Power Fist)
2 Tornadoes
8 man assault squad (2 Plasma Pistols, Vet w/Power Fist)
3 Scout Bikers (Vet w/PW, Teleport Homer)
8 man Dev Squad (4 Missile Launchers)
Pred Destructor (2 Heavy Bolters)
Whirlwind
Shooty army, with plenty of counter-assault. Scout bikers are for disruption and possibly homering in the Epistolary if I Deep Strike him.
Army is a Space Wolf successor chapter (kinda...), so no True Grit on Devs.

The army looks more like a blood angel successor than a space wolf successor...
Space wolves don't teleport and jump packs seem discouraged by the SW fluff too.

Well, that was a BS fluff change from 2nd edition to 3rd...So I don't pay attention to it.
Back in 2nd edition, (Teleporting) Wolf Guard Terminators were heavily used, and so were Blood Claw jump packers.
All of a sudden 3rd comes along and they change the fluff to say that those units aren't Wolfy all of a sudden...
One of these days, I'll post the background to my Desert Wolves. It uses a couple of the standards of them (Epistolary, 8 man squads...)
