I was hoping to push it at the Maurader GT and push the locals to see if we can get them all to attend. I am still hopeful for 24.

Would anyone see a problem if I used fantasy orcs at the tournament with only the front ranks painted completely? The rest of the ranks will be sprayed green but I don't have the time to finish them. Also, since its wysiwyg if I put shields on the front rank of a goblin unit but not the rest will people complain? Painting isn't required and I really don't care (obviously) about paint scoring and I'm just going to have fun, support the tourny yada yada

.... but I don't have the time to finish them. LOL! Quit making excuses - thats only 75-100 models a week to paint, you can do it! Anyway, I'm pretty sure its in the general rules that painted armies arent required, it's just preferred and you (obviously) wont get any points for painting. I'm ok with it.

Not only do i not mind that they arent finished, In fact I DEMAND that you take them unfinished! Put those brushes down and grab the spray paint, BOOM done! 10 mins, finished army.

The painting restriction was dropped to get maximum participation and attract newer players that ma not have a finished army yet. You should hold yourself to a higher standard. If you insist on playing this army though, Lord Norton is correct, go buy a few cans of Krylon, some dollor store brushes and some finger paint so you can get at least three colors on your army. I hope you were joking.... On a side note, are any of the fantasy players planning on bringing tables or scenery that they have made to the event? More tables would be nice....

Brian is working on his army ( painted his defiler more and his horror squad this week) and will be there late since football practice conflicts with game one. I am certain that Brian will have more than one "rank" painted although he is not the world's speediest painter, he has been working on it. Oh yeah, Brian is 13, falling into the younger player exception... ;D

E You could just play a real game, 40K. Too hard, you have to move all those figures one at a time, it is some much easier to move around bricks.... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
