Let me clarify something for you SOB since you really don't know me. I am a new player to Fantasy. I'd be embellishing to say I've played much more than 10 games. Until two weeks ago these orcs sat in a closet while I painted FoW models. The 7th edition rules and the new Orc book grabbed my interest so I brought them out and started painting orcs and playing the past few weeks with them. I could understand the angst if I were bringing my grey rubber band Tau to the 40K portion. I have no interest in 40K at this time or specifically 5 games with my Dark Angels.
I understand that you want Daboyz to represent at this GT but that doesn't mean I'm going to drop 30$ for 5 games/2days of something I don't want to do. That being said I am working on borrowing an army that is painted so the Daboyz rep isn't tainted by being seen with unfinished models.

E, I say eh whatever, play with your orks the way they are. Sure they wont win any painting contests (Although Ive seen you painting and think you can compete with the best) but if your having fun with fantasy go for it! Who cares what others think.
Its unfortuante they are unpainted and your newest like so close to the tournement, but I dont think its fair to discourage you from playing them just because they are unpainted. Its just the norm for us to play painted...which is where I think SoB is coming from.

E, relax, I was breaking your balls. I really dont care what you bring as long as you are there. Finished armies are nice but whatever you bring will be good. Please don't take my ball busting as a sign of discouragement. I want you there and everyone else.

Actually I put in many of the rules because of my trying to get and indy GT. They are for any models not just gW and as the recognize people have lives they encourage organizers to let non-painted armies play. Thus I copied their rules. It is nice to play painted armies but that is not what they were trying to do.

I'm in the middle of typing up a rather poor, abbreviated battle report, I should have it up in the AM.
Should I spoil the story for ya?
