Okay, here it goes -
When something says "X or Y", "OR" implies that get the +1 comp point if you have ONE of them, NOT both. Here's an example -
4) Less than 11 power OR 7 dispel.
What if you generate 12 power and only 6 Dispel? (such as a Tzeentch army)? Would it be penalized? and if so, you need to change the wording from "OR" to "AND"
Another one is -
10) Less than 5 units which shoot at S4 or less than 7 that shoot at S3.
Does this mean if I have 0 units that shoot at S3, but 5 that shoot at S4, I get the Comp point?? If not, again, change ALL the "OR"s to "AND"s, because it's confusing.

At first I thought it was clear to me, but after reading your post, I can see it can be read differently.

Well for three years I have been using these questions and you are the first person to mention this. I do mean you do not get the point if you violate either of these criterion. How would you suggest I write it so it is more clear to you.

I think Larro's suggestion of AND instead of OR works.
FOR EXAMPLE: 4) Less than 11 power AND 7 dispel.
You must meet both of the criteria to get the point. With an OR, it can be read as if you meet either you get the point.

Another thing ... unrelated though ... in the list of restricted items and characters many of restricted characters are not listed in the respective army's actual list ... and therefore cannot be taken anyway. Thorek is not in the dwarf list ... the same applies to the beast characters.
Also, if a HE army has 2 dragons is that -1 for each or just -1 for both?

Thorek is not in the dwarf list ... the same applies to the beast characters. Special characters *are* in every army book, and dont need opponent's approval (remember those famous words? lol) Recent books just move them to the forefront. I believe Boldo's wording meant if they are in your book, you can take them. I think his intent is that characters from White Dwarf/campaigns are not allowed.

Does a black coach get the -1 for "No unit which causes terror and may move more than 12" in a turn"? It can charge 16". I assume then this would apply to a tomb prince with the terror causing item in a chariot as well? If so then ... that is retarded . You should have left the wording as "flier" ... it was so much simpler.

As for the characters yes they must be in the book. As for the black coach it is -1 as is the terror character on the chariot. My idea in the rewrite of this was that if it pursues 3d6 it is better than if it only goes 2d6. Also I built a whole army around characters in chariots and they are some good. A terror causeing one would be more effective. Now is the black coach a -1 I think so as it is better than a giant but you may disagree.
