so for the BadCon tournament I came up with this different way of doing the battle points system, I have this idea where each of the 3 games a player could gain a maximum of 20 battle points, 5 for a loss, 10 for a draw and 15 for a win. The remaining 5 points could be
gained from a list of 10 items each worth a point if filled. irregardless of how many of the items on the list are gained only a maximum of 5 points could be used towards the battle points score.
Here are the 10 items i was thinking of putting on that list:
+1 if there was a massacre
+1 if your army general killed the opposing general in close combat
+1 if you captured the opposing army battle standard
+1 if all your units are above 50% starting strength
+1 if you control every table quarter
+1 if your army battle standard did not flee and survived the entire battle
+1 If your general survived the entire battle, (if the general is fleeing at the end of the game he counts as dead)
+1 you are general single handedly made back their points cost through shooting, magic, and/or combat. Include all mounts and their attacks in their total points cost. ignore points cost for general's riding chariots any attacks made by the chariot driver and any impact hits caused by the chariot.
+1 if none of your units have fled or are currently fleeing. Armies that are entirely comprised of unbreakable units and any units that are purchased as dogs of war cannot be counted nor take advantage of calculating this battle point. Ignore units that fled as a charge reaction and subsequently rallied before the battles end.
+1 you control all of your original army unit standards (have not been killed, fled, or captured)
what do you guys think?
