Well, you can kick a players when he is down (it's called fouling). But the ref can catch you doing it and throw the player out.
Also, if you catch your opponent doing domething illegal, he has to forfeit a reroll marker. if he already used onthat turn or has none left then his turn is over immediatley.
I never suggested that somebody play the game without reading the rules. I just suggested that you will learn more about it as you play

That is true, but it is nice to have a firm grasp before you start in on a serious league. I'm not suggesting much. Maybe just a game or two for those who have never played before. Then start the league.

Apparently you can cheat in this game and get away with it and its allowed. I didnt know this when I was "learning" apperently Tom was cheating the entire time without my knowledge. Totally turned me off from the game. I dont remember cheating you in this game. only game i know where cheating is allowed is Illuminati. If i did i appologise. I would also be more supportive of a more structured learning. By about 3 games you should have a good grasp of the basics. (We can call it pre-season) I can bring my box saturday and sunday (after league of course) I have 2 teams and would also demo it. However i would also advise giving the basic rules a once over.

Brian, Any game that you play i want no part of. The only reason I play 40k is because I played it before you got into it. Besides the game stinks imo. Lets play Necromunda or mordhiem.

I'm all for those too. Or instead of. Don't care. I just need a break from 40k sometimes. It's nice to play something different from time to time. That's why I picked up fantasy, but even that can be too similar sometimes. I want to play something small to break up the routine.

Adding to the list...
Norton Kyle(maybe) Kantor(maybe)
WE NEED MORE PEOPLE!! WE SHOULD ADVERTISE AT THE "M" WORD, BOLDO"S, AND LOCAL TORNEIES!! This may lead to too many people... not a bad thing. 32 teams could be like the real NFL!

I'd be interesed in seeing Necromunda in demo mode. I was looking at the rules and it looks and sounds cool... but I have no "stuff" for it.

necromunda can be played by proxy - or by conversion. The biggest difference is the terrain is more three dimensional becuase it represents a Hive city. So lots of walkways, scafoldings, etc. Brings up different tactics and a different gaming experience.

I saw a rather impressive necro board.. forget were, prolly warseer, it was 3 or 4 feet tall the pics said, with cat walks all over the place, I think it was like 3 layers of terrain.
I like the idea of these games with smaller forces that improve over time.
