I'm fine with this. I was trying to figure ot travel plans for the weekend of the 28th anyway. This makes life easier.
Besides, the holidays tend to be crazy for everyone.

this is a great idea ron.
as for having the whole army painted by january, then you must have a very small family or just not hang with them (just kidding). holiday's are very hectic for me. especally with my birthday right around the corner. but back to the original topic. i think this will give people the extra time they may need to build or even convert a model for the league.
thats my $.02 plus some rambling

Taking that week off is OK, it should give some people the opportunity to catch up with their painting ( cough, cough, K-dawg )! Everyone is turning out some great looking armies, stay focuses and keep up the great work!

In fact we planned on not playing where there was a tournament run per the rules stated before the league. "How Long is it ran for? Answer: Until we get everyone at 2000 points, usually every 2 weeks. Date may slide according to Holidays and Tournaments. " Now i know that you are all eager to get your rear ends handed to you from the new leader of the Pack. but you can wait an extra couple weeks and paint something big. oh and remember... "If you are not the lead dog, the view is always the same!" Enjoy all you #2s and below. and congrats to Dacius for his best week yet! |

I cringe just reading that Dragon! The only spray i use on my models is primer  but I have not seen your marines, so maybe the spray technique works after all! |
