speaking of sprays, dragon, do you know of any metallic silver sprays that might work as a base coat for necrons? brushing chainmail on all these warriors is sooooo lame...

HEY KRUSTY, I USED A DARK METALLIC SILVER GRAY CAR PAINT AS A PRIMER ON MY IRON WARRIORS. I BELIEVE THE COLOR WAS FOR A LATE MODEL CHRYSLER. CAR PAINT IS FINER THAN GW PRIMER AND AT LEAST A $1 CHEAPER. CAR PAINT CAN GO DIRECTLY ON MODELS USING THIS TYPE OF METAL OR PLASTIC WITH OUT PRIMER. IT'S WHEN YOU PAINT LARGER OBJECTS THAT REQUIRE PRIMER AS A BOND BECAUSE ACRYLIC OR ENAMEL WILL NOT STICK TO METAL. FORGIVE ME FOR NOT BEING TO CLEAR, I'M TYPING QUICK! CIAO!

Just a reminder, because some people seem to have trouble remembering what a 2 week time frame is, see you tomorrow. Be ready to play missions from the rule book. See ya there.

Alright folks here are the results for week 1400, as of right now everyone has had the opportunity to play an equal amount of games and should all be even at this point. And here are the standings.
Tommy, Tau 48 Orville, Orks 46 Terry, Orks 40 Norton, Blood Angels 40 Doug, Chaos 40 Steve C, Space marines 39 Brian M, Daemons 36 Zack, Tyranids 36 James, Templars 35 Gabe, Space marines 35 Chris, Dark Angels 34 Shuan B, Orks 34 Shortbus, Grey knights 30 Gary, Chaos 30 Dave, Sisters 30 Thomas, Imperial Guard 27 Brian L, Dreamons 26 Steve, Space Wolves 19 K-dog, Dark Angels 16 Foser, Chaos marines 9
Also my Khorne Deamons fought the dogged Deamon Hunters of Shortbus. When all seemed to be going well the weapons of the Deamon Hunters failed them and thier blood soaked the soil upon the earth they fought Angar'rak's Blood Legion. 4-1
Well done painters. Your armies are looking great. Now we have a month off until we meet again, This would be a good opportunity to catch up if your behind or get ahead. Have a happt holidays and happy new year. See you folks then. I will give you a hint as to what is going on closer to the date we play.
If goes as planned: 1600pts will be played on the 11th of january and then just continue form there. 1800 on the 25th of Jan and 2000 on the 8th of Feb.
Mr. Freeman, I would like my model back asp please. Either PM me or call me with a time I can pick it up or if you could drop it off at my apartment that would be awesome. Thanks.
Also I encourage you to post battle reports on the other post. I like reading what happened to you guys during the games.

Ron, my congratulations to you for organizing a well run and exciting league. I have had fun playing every week and I look forward to it every week as we near the finish line.
I also would like to congratulate all the painters and players who have painted and played their armies. Everyone has their stuff looking good and at the end we will see the edition of many new armies to play against. Great work gentlemen!

I am only reporting what I have written on the cards that I have provided for players to record their wins or losses. It was recorded on Dacius's card he had only played one game. I have however gone back and looked at people he played and found that the game with Zack was not recorded. It has been fixed and recorded properly.
Just remember to record your games. At the end I go through them and make sure what is recorded is matched up. If there are some discrepancy and your score is in question (which thus far has never happened and hope it never does) there may be issues with final tally and winners and awards.
Also if there is an error with what is posted, please PM with the the issue. Thanks.
Thanks Doug for the kind words.
And yes Zack had moved up a lot in this league, Congrats!

thanks a lot guys... week 1 was my first time using the tyranids, i think now i finally have a handle on how to use them effectively... WTF, playing bug bugs doesnt take any thought. Both Dragon and Jay have them and they can barely manage to dress and feed themselves without help. This army is one of the most remedial armies there is, hell its so bad I might even play it... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

doug... the only thing easier than 'running towards nuts and eating it' is 'we're too smelly and nurgle-ie to die, so we're just gunna sit here and be ugly"

DON'T PICK ON "DRAGON" DOUG, IT'S HARD GETTING DRESSED WITH THESE BIG ARMS IN THE WAY AND THESE WINGS JUST KEEP POPPING OUT WHEN I LIFT MY ARMS.
WELL DOUG PERHAPS YOU ARE THE EPITOME OF EATING MACHINES, AND I JUST EAT ENOUGH TO JUSTIFY MY CARBON COUNT.
I LOVE BIG BUGS AND I CAN NOT LIE!
BIG BUGS HAVE AN ADVANTAGE, MORE THAN BEFORE WITH THE RE-WRITING OF OTHER CODEX'S.
NORTON NOR I SHALL LOOSE TO KRUSTY BUG'S.
AND MY ONLY LOSE WAS TO TOMMY IN WEEK ONE, BUT CHRIS'S DARK ANGELS KICKED MY A$$ BUT MY MASSIVE GRAY MATTER FORCED A DRAW.
WELL PLAYED BY CHRIS AND I LEARNED MORE IN THAT GAME THAN ANY OTHER.
CIAO!

Notice Dragon forgets to mention his beat down at the hands of my old Iron Warriors. Must have beaten him so bad he blanked it out of his mind like some repressed childhood memory. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
