I don't think we should go crazy with the tournament format. Please feel free to "get crazy" with the format. I'm tired of playing the same old 1850pt games with missions straight from the BBB. Random teams is definitely a step in the right direction.

Very cool. I have never played against the Syracuse guys. Every time there is a tourney I can't make it there.

What's the plan if there are an odd number of people that show up?

What's the plan if there are an odd number of people that show up? Brian will sit out and ask the person in the lead stupid questions to help balance everyone's chances of winning. Kinda like the Chinese Water Torture...

Are you sure you didn't mean to aske, "What's the plan if a Number of Odd people show up?'
Oh wait!!! That's expected.

Same thing that happens in any tournament where an odd number shows up, someone sits out or some one extra plays.

Yes, someone sits out or someone plays, but what if there are an extra 2 people... does someone end up playing a 1 on 1?

Is this correct? $13/$15 to register, and then an additional $5 to enter the 40k tourney.

GAGG only charges the $5 fee for the 40k tourney if that is all you plan to attend. Just show up the day of the tourn and register on site. This has been true for the last 7 years, so unless they have made a ridiculous change, it should be the same this year.

I think Boldo will post this soon. But he said something about starting the tournament around 10am so there will be enough time to get through all 3 rounds.
Im am going to have to agree, we will need extended time for this tournament as teams tend to take longer than normal games. As seen at Coyotes Den last sunday.
Hope to see you there.
