I've played their every 3 weeks for the last 2 1/2 years. They average between 8 and 16 players. It costs $5.00 to enter with the top 3 finishers getting store credit. If you play get their between 11:00 & 11:30 so you won't be the odd man out. They now use objective cards with standard missions, plus some others that change deployment zones to make things more interesting. 2 hours maximum time limit per round. They always play 1500 points per army with no special characters. The same 3 or 4 people tend to always win (I'm 1 of them). Competition wise, I was their yesterday cashing in my winnings (3rd place) from the last tournament plus some others (aka Coyote dollars). I brought up the subject of a tournament between Boldo's & the Coyote's Den. This is what I think! 1) Players at Boldo's are allot better, play more, and have more money to spent on models. 2) Most players at the Coyote tend to only have 1 army and would have trouble fielding 1850 or 2000 points. 3) Half the players are teenagers, including my Necron son who have never played any were else. 4) Against Dabozy, they would be doomed on a good day. 5) Against Boldo's it might be fun. I hope this gives you and idea of player level, they do have some odd house rules. It's family environment so watch your language. I now play at Boldo's first of the month tournament instead, but if it doesn't happen or I can't make it, then I play at the Coyote's Den. Its hard to beat a good match on a Thursday night at Boldo's. Model cost is a few dollars less at the Coyote's Den, but I now split my model buying between both stores. They play this week end, I may play the next one depending on what the guy's at Boldo's do. They don't know me as the DRAGON, so tell them Stephen Cipolla sent you.

How many people can you fit at the store? I mean if 10 of us go down will they have enough room?

HAGBARD, BE CAREFUL, IF YOU GET BEAT BY A PUPPY, THAT WOULD MAKE YOU A KITTY CAT. MEOW! (KITTY CAT WAS AUTO-EDITED) WE SHOULD GET A COUNT THURSDAY NIGHT ON HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE PLAYING, IF THIS IS REAL. OR HAVE THE FIRST WEEK OF THE MONTH TOURNEY AT BOLDO'S FOR FEBRUARY THIS SUNDAY INSTEAD. WHY PLAY PUPPIES WHEN YOU CAN PLAY IRON WARRIORS, MIGHTY BLOOD THIRSTS, DRAGONS, LIONS AND TIGERS AND WHAT EVER. SOMEBODY MAKE A CALL!

To clarify, no first week of the month tourney is being offered at Boldo's this month due to the upcoming arrival of Shaun's hellspawn and the conflict of Running GAGG in Geneseo. I am sure in March things will be back to normal.
As for sunday at the Puppy's Palace, I am sure the grot and myself can be in attendence, as well as a few other DaBoyz players like maybe Ron, Norton,Orville, Kevin, James and Tommy,etc...maybe C4 if we can pry him away from his new "precious" Yu-Gi-Oh ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Sounds like a plan, time to meet in the morning?
Tommy, No you cant use the new book since it has not officially been released. Any good rules lawyer knows the law does not change until the date it goes into affect! That date has not yet arrived.
