REALITY CHECK TIME! A TOURNAMENT AT THE COYOTE'S DEN IS THE SAME AS BOLDO'S FIRST OF THE MONTH TOURNAMENT.
SHOW UP AND ROLL!
OBJECTIVE: REVIEW THE POINT SCORING SYSTEM, OBJECTIVE CARDS AND PLAYING CONCERNS.
THIS NOT A G.T. FORMAT, I WOULD SAY 4 GUYS WOULD KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT AND THE REST WOULD LOOK AT YOU LIKE YOU HAD 2 HEADS.

RON, I KNOW YOU'RE LAUGHING YOUR A$$ OFF!
BUT SEATING 40 PERTAINS TO MAGIC CARD PLAYERS, HERO CLICKS AND MAYBE CHINESE CHECKERS. WELL I KNOW THE FIRST 2 ARE TRUE.
I'VE GOTTA GO BUILD AN ARMY LIST, SINCE MY IMPERIAL TANK ARMY IS AN ISSUE.

Did not mean to make it an issue, historically that army has been trouble in tournaments but really its up to the organizers. (hopefully they know a little about the army.) Don't get me wrong, Myself and Ron could crush any army, I am just trying to look out for younger, novice or syracuse players. (J.K.)

COLONEL CATACHAN, THANKS FOR THE TIME YOU SPENT ON THE COMP LIST, I COPIED OUT WHAT YOU WROTE, AND STUDY IT.
THIS WAS ALL NEW TO ME, I LEARNED SOME STUFF, AND IT'S A GOOD IDEA FOR EVERYONE TO AT LEAST RE-VIEW IT.
WE CAN ALWAYS USE A COMP LIST LIKE THIS NOW OR IN THE FUTURE (OR A CLOSE VARIANT OF IT).
DRAGON OUT!

I still think soft score should be in most tournies. I do agree though that changing them at the last minute would be extreme. If the change is to implemented, there should be at least a month of warning to the regulars of said tourney.
Something I would like topoint out is that part of the reason for the painting score is to make sure people paint their armies. There are too many people who buy the models, play the game, and never paint. This has a number of problems, but the biggest is this. Painting is part of the hobby. If you get into this hobby, you should be expecting to paint, and therefore, you should be scored for it. I hate facing an army with no paint on it. As I've mentioned before, I love the look of things. That's why I put so much emphasis on my painting. Now I don't think everyone needs to be meticulous in their painting, but a fully painted army shouldn't be an issue to do. Espescially for those of us with multiple armies. I can understand showing up to a tourney without a fully painted army if it's your first army. But there should be signs of working on it.

I can't decide if I want to play my normal Guard or bring my Armored Company (under the new rules thanks to dragons3 at the last Den tourney).
I think i will DEFINETLY play Armored Company if dragons3 brings his...
