i've picked up a couple sheets of 3/16'' hardboard from home despot lately and they run about $2.50 each for a 2'x4' section. Cuts easily enough with dremel or saw.

What mike and I got from Home Depot was the 1/8" hardboard, it is in the lumber section and it's cheap. you can cut it to fit your buildings and it will probably outlive whatever you glue on top of it. it's nice stuff and it's pretty easy to work with.

SUNDAY: Norton, Boldo and I are meeting at 11am to run to some stores to gether supplies for terrain, you guys are welcome to come join in.
The idea is everyone make/have thier own board with diffrent themes from diffrent wolrds. For example: Nortons "desert board" is called Tallarn I will be doing either Armmeggedon or Vogen (city fight) Ice world could be Valhalla...for fantasy boldo is doing a sylvania board, I was thinking a Middenhiem board for some examples.

I won't be there sunday, due to the fact that I'm in Virginia for the weekend, but I was thinking about doing an urban holy site that has been abandoned and/or overrun by natural growth. It would be city fight esque, but with a wild element to it. I just want to make sure that this is ok and I won't be busting in on someone else's idea.

How about April 23 for the next Terrain workshop? I will be unable to be there due to conventions but there is still a lot we can do and plenty of stuff to do it with. I hope we can stay as motivated for this one as for the last.
Thanks, Boldo

ALEX & SHAUN, AFTER TALKING TO SOME OF “DABOYZ” AND OTHERS, I FIND SOME OF THE CLAN ARE WORKING HARD ON COMING UP WITH THEIR OWN TABLE DESIGNS. IF WE COMBINE THESE PROJECTS WITH CHRIS COURTNEY’S IDEA OF EVERYONE HAVING THERE OWN TABLE, WE CAN ASURE COMMITMENT OF TABLES COMPLETED ON TIME BY HAVE A “BEST TABLE DESIGN AWARD” AT THE G.T. THIS WOULD TAKE SOME OF THE BURDEN OF YOU GUYS,CREATE BETTER LOOKING TABLES, AND HAVE MORE TEAM INVOLVEMENT ect……. REQUIREMENTS ARE: 48”x 60” PLAYING SURFACE AREA, (CUT DROP CLOTHE MATERIAL, or BOARDS, FOAM CORE or WHAT EVER, AND 25 TO 45% AREA COVERAGE OF TERRAIN, CONSISTING OF A MINIMUM OF 8 TERRAIN PIECES OF RESONABLE SIZE OR MORE. P.S. USE YOUR OWN REQUIREMENTS IF YOU WANT. THIS IS JUST HOW MY TABLES ARE DESIGNED. I CAN STILL SUPPLY MORE STUFF, IF NEEDED, THINK ABOUT IT! THE COGITATING DRAGON RETURN’S TO THURSDAY NIGHTS ON APRIL 20th. HAVE A NICE DAY!

So this still going to happen? We need to get those things spray painted, anyone have a good texture paint? or Spray paint? And the possibility of makeing more terrain? Like Flocked areas for forest placement (instead of the felt ones) Roads? Small areas of rubble or stowage. Anyone have clay?
The terrain that we made looks good, there are 2 pieces, however, that are way too big and would more hinder the game rather than enhance it, Im talking about the "Hanger" thing and the 2 Huge craters. I think they need to be reduced in size.

you can dis the hangar all you want but there is a serious bet going on for the craters.
we gotta leave the craters whole then count the number of games it is used in a year by anybody but its creator.
If the number is less than 10 than all of us get to form a line and we get to kidney punck the creator of the piece.
