Ok, Jay is going to be at the store tomorrow so anyone who wants to discuss anything with him can. Since we need a total of 44 tables (based on the number count of entrants allowed on the web page), it is clear that a majority of these will need to be mass built. As such, it appears that the terrain building project will be in 2 parts:
- one where everyone makes their own terrain and tables
- one to create the rest of the needed tables based upon how many are created in step one.
We will be discussing with people tomorrow to get an approximate idea of how many tables will be obtained thru step one. We will also take into account existing terrain at the store and personally owned by various members. Once we have this "estimate" then we can make arrangements to have the rest of the tables built.
We will also be playing the board game "Game of Thrones" based on the George R. R. Martin fantasy series. This is a rather intensive strategy game for up to 6 players. Anyone who wants to participate, we are looking to start at about 12:30 to 1:00.
Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

SHAUN,I CAN'T MAKE IT SUNDAY, BUT I AM WORKING ON MY OWN TERRAIN TABLES,WEATHER OR NOT I PLAY IN THE G.T. IN OCTOBER. "I WILL HAVE 2 TABLES OF LANDSCAPING YOU MAY BORROW FOR THE G.T." BOTH TABLES WILL HAVE A MINIMUM OF 8 TERRAIN PIECES OF VARYING HEIGHTS, SIZE AND CATEGORIES. I ALSO HAVE 2 OTHER TABLES COMPLETED WHICH I KEEP ON HAND FOR PLAYING AT HOME, IF YOU REALLY GET IN TROUBLE YOU MAY USE THESE ALSO. GOOD LUCK TOMORROW, "TABLES WITH THEMES ARE EASIER TO COMPLETE, CAUSE IT'S EASIER TO FOCUS ON THE BIG PICTURE. HAVE A NICE DAY!

Hey, just cause someone wants to "have a terrain day" doesn't mean everyone is obligated to participate. Jay, Courtney and myself are planning on getting together on Wednesday evenings to work on this. Does that mean that I should force everyone else to also make terrain on Wednesdays?
Look Dave, I think that comment wasn't called for publicly. We need 44 tables. Between Jay, Chris, Myself and what the store has usable from a quality standpoint - we figure there are approximately 20 - 25 completed boards. According to the "plan" several individuals are responsible for making their "own" boards. I figure we will have about 10 from these. That still leaves approximately 14 boards that appears Jay, Chris and myself will be putting together (unless someone else wants to step up and take responsibility). If they do want to take responsibility, then they shouldn't critisize others for not participating if they don't want.
You are complaining about what was a "proposed" plan brought up by an individual who thought it might be a good idea if terrain building was continued on a day in which that person couldn't even participate. I just don't think it is right that you "belittle" others for their lack of participation. I don't mean to come across harsh just as I'm sure it wasn't your intention either.

Terrain
The Terrain I have for the GT.
I have enough for 13 tables. I want to build 3 more city type tables. Here is the break down Built Tables
4 Games day tables (the tables we took to games day) 1 Bridge table 1 table (nothing on it) 1 table of dinosaurs (Chris table)
Enough terrain and mats /boards to do 5 more. Most of them are going to be trees.
As i said before. i want to build more city boards. Boldo, can we buy terrain from GW at your discounted price? Trees, city fight buildings, gw terrain, etc.
