Whew Hooo! Scott left early with his Wordbearers and moved me from fourth to third in painting, and the other chaos guy Pete couldn't get the arms finished on his Bloodthirster ... so I really would have finished fifth. Now that is how the Grey Knights really rule chaos! Yes the Grey Knights willed the evil away from the top of the list.

Sorry it has taken so long I have been busy as of late, but here are the results. The numbers shown for painting, and Comp are averages from the 3 judges. I see a got raped in comp. Just because I had the Big One’s. There were a lot of armies that were just as bad (or good) as mine and scored a lot better.
Then you have the necron player with two monolith and nightbringer. Or (I think) the 7 assault cannon army. Theycored way better.
What would of happen if I brought 3 gunfexes and 3 Dakka fexes. Maybe I would have gotten a 2.

People like to whine about Godzilla lists. It's a fact of life I've learned. Mostly because they are something that Marines can't do and/or it's a new style of Tyranid list with the new codex.
Heck, it's even encouraged by the new codex as a style of play.

Sorry to see that Jay. I believe this supports my arguement for player rated comp rather than having it all in the judges hands. I firmly believe everyone tries to be fair in their own mind when rating comp but one person's version of "fair and balanced" never equals another. If you put this in the players hands, the numbers should average out over several rated games. In addition, it also takes away from the finger pointiing, since you have no one to blame but your opponents and yourself for your comp score.
That being said, I do think you were judges harshly on youre comp. Of the three Tyranid list there, I would have rather played you. I think that it is easier to try to outshoot your list and pick your assaults than it was to run from the genestealers. Just my opinion...
BTW, did anyone pick up my Space Marine Codex saturday? I lost is when we played, hopefully it will turn up somewhere. Please let me know.
