Props for a good tourney today to Tommy and those who came out. We had that place pretty packed for the venue.
Gotta hand it to Norton for putting together a really scary list and playing it perfectly as well as Mike from B-lo for going undefeated with a nicely comp'd eldar list.

thank you for the nice comment about my eldar. wasn't sure what to do after bringing mephiston the time before and getting rocked. I was looking at the daboyzgt site and getting excited. I have to get that weekend penciled in before the wife plans something.

I also had a great time tying for last place, and will be returning to Boldo's for if I feel the need to play a game of 40k. I need to actually get enough models to field an army first though, so that may not be for a while.

Hey Jay will the primers have a painting score? Some of us are still in the process of painting our GT forces.

I want to say yes for the painting score, but maybe we can use 80% rule.
If 80% of the army is done we can judge on that. we have a meeting tomarrow on the GT and i will propose the question to the group. or the can post there thoughts here.

Total Comp 120 points - 25% of total points 120 points by the judges. Refer to the matrix for comp scoring.
Total Appearance/Hobby Score 60 points - 12% of total points 60 points judged by your opponents and the judges. Only top three armies will get max points. Refer to the matrix for comp scoring.
Total Sportsmanship 50 points- 10% of total points By opponents
Turn List in Early - 10 total points Lists need to be turned in before October 29, 2010 to receive the points
We are using the above system for the Primers, except for two things. No ealy list turn is needed and we will only be playing 3 games. The above points will be changed to a 3 game event. the % will still be the same. The goal of the primer is to test the missions on the web site and to make sure our % of the points.
You will stay pay the same amount as you usally pay, but there might be some extra prizes thrown in.
any questions please post them.
