Yep, I'm hoping to get into the space Friday night to get most of the table stuffs set up... with just minor last minute tweaking in the morning. Should be ready when doors open, and start with the rest of the events. That will give us the most time.

Still no new sign ups for the Ash-World table (which looks fantastic.)
I am not sure how many points Dave has or will be able to feild, but if he has to run them all by himself, do we want to lower the points some?
I just want to have time to get my list setup for the table points and make sure I get as much painted as possible. Right now Dave will be hard pressed to get 20k points and then have to play them all by himself.
Thoughts?

Dave had a modified scanario worked out. Drop him a PM and hash out the details... but it went something like this:
"If all else absolutely falls through, I think it would be kind of fun to do the Ash-world table with appr. 20k of Chaos (no super-heavies) deployed in the city vs every Titan I can field (around 7500pts, nothing else). I'd take the offensive and we could see how an outnumbered (almost 3:1) Titanicus force does against codex forces."

I am working on more sponsor for the Apoc. game. I was looking to give a small GW box (drop pod or rhino) for everyone that players in the apoc event. I posted this bit of info on the Pair-A-Dice board. I hope it will spark more interest as well. |

The last 2' x 2' modular bord is complete. Just need to add a grey drybrush to the four plains boards and the Ash-World City table will be complete.
Need to paint the facade on three buildings (with source lighting), cut my road mat into strips and window-paper ten more stackable building crates and Tarkeen will be done.
Taros Desert is complete. (Just not enough time to finish my Manta, so I made some mountain outcroppings for the LOS blocking bits.

My Chaos Force is from an Ash_wlrd, so all their grey urban rubble basing will fit right in. That table will provide some great photos once the titans and other super heavies are prowling through the streets. |

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I was able to recruit some help for the Imperials (they're going to need it  ) on the Ash world board to face Team Chaos. Points are in the air at the moment. I'll get the info posted as soon as we can figure it out. |

Sorry I've been MIA the last week guys. Life got a hold of me and mucked up my plans. In the absence of any other Imperial players on my side I can field 7,500pts of titans. So I've devised the following scenario.
Let me know if you guys are willing to try this out. Also should we get a last-minute Imperial addition we can adjust the scenario by changing the points cost ratio of my Titans scenario OPs and allowing the Chaos forces to field their FW Titans against my new ally.
(P.S.> I laughed when I saw the crater peeing itself.)

While the senerio sounds fun, without my super heavy units, I can't field 20k points. The lack of super heavies aso leaves with just a handful of Codex heavy support, a unit of obliterators, a few havocs and some vindicators or predators. the rest is the standard terminators and marines and berserkers etc. All those titans again standard troops is not going to be very balanced.
Plus the whole reason i signed up for the apocalypse game was to use my seldom used itan and FW super heavy tanks etc.
Steve and I might have gotten an imperial player to join, but even then we will have to lower Chaos Team's points.
