Jason just touched-base to tell me the Apoc table is set-up and ready to go. DSwanick will place the smaller buildings tomorrow morning once he sees how the table "feels". Also delivered two Tourney tables: the Necron Ice-World and the Tyranid Hive. There were some concerns that the main hive may be too large for a regular table (originally for my Amphelion Apoc table)... but there are enough other elements that I believe the table could be playable without the main hive. But that would be Jay's call.

It would be an easy fit for you to bring something about 3k of Imperial. We have 3750 of Ultramarines already and I'll be fielding my Wolves, so a Guard contingent would make for a perfect team - but ultimately bring what you're comfortable with, I'm just happy to have the bodies interested players.

You're welcome to play with us Tommy! I look forward to it. I'll ask you to help Mark out as he's only played a few games of 40K and never played Apocalypse. Should be fun. In the spirit of keeping things balanced, lets not get too uneven with supers either, but I'm sure we can work that out, too.
I guess my puppies will take the day off tomorrow. One less thing to worry about! ;D

Thank you all for participating. It was great fun. For those who are interested, the Imperium enjoyed some early success with the initial salvoes destroying two traitor warhounds and crippling a Reaver. Driving deep into the city the Imperium found it's initial push being blunted by the appearance of numerous Greater Daemons. The third turn saw the tides of fortune favoring the servants of the Ruinous Powers as a nearby Warhound hoofed it's way into the fray while the Chaos Reaver managed to bring all of it's systems back online and a large detachment of Berzerkers and Chaos Terminators performed a bold pincer maneuver. The game ended at that point with the Imperium maintaining a tenuous hold on two objectives, while contesting three others, and one objective with noone nearby to lay claim from either side.

Thank you to dswanick for bringing all the terrain and putting this on. And a big thank you to TrooperPX for building this terrain (and the other 3 tables). It looked great and was a lot of fun to play on!
Edit I'd also like to thank the organizers for all the hard work you've done all year to make the event happen, and Doug and Shaun for letting us use your models, they looked great!
Thanks to the organizers and the store owners for the great prizes as well. I'm pretty sure everyone was happy with the prize support. I know I was.

Big thanks to Trooper and Dave for building and bringing the terrain for the big game. The table looked amazing and was a sight to behold once is was loaded with models. So many people stopped by to check it out.
Thanks to Smitty, Ron, Jay and the rest of the Tournament organizers for providing the space and prizes.
Thanks to Doug and Shaun for some fun Forge World models for Team Chaos.
