what about scoring for this event? adepticon point breakdown is wierd, and will there be comp? along with other soft scores like paint/sports?

sorry i have yet to attend a monthly tourny at MG but plan on making several this year

Are 3 troops required?!? It has been a while since I played a team 1k but I thought you could go with one troop choice in the adepticon scoring.

Our annual player meeting to discuss the format of our events, scoring and anything else will be Tuesday, January 11th.

We are changing our events a bit based on what the player base is looking for. 40k events will be either using our comp system or run as straight 'Ard Boyz events. Our invitational will be run using painting and comp however.

Here are next years events

January 8th - 40k Painting and Comp
February 12th - 40k 'Ard Boyz style
March 12th - Fantasy Painting & Comp
April 9th - 40k Teams event (Details to come)
May 14th - 40k 'Ard Boyz Style
June 11th - Fantasy 'Ard Boyz style
July 9th - 40k Painting & Comp
August 13th - 40k 'Ard Boyz
September 10th - Fantasy Painting & Comp
October- No Event "Da Boyz" GT
November 12th - 40k One of Event
December 3rd Fantasy Finals
December 10th 40k Finals

A few things to keep in mind. I am not sure when the 40k 'Ard Boyz GW event is next year. We will be running this event so changes to the schedule may occur. We also may throw in a Primer for the GT as well. We are going to run a Throne of Skulls event for sure this year. I will let you know when that event is as soon as I know.

Due to a complete lack of attendance and interest in Fantasy Warhammer I am changing our events schedule for the invitational series. I will be replacing fantasy events with new 40k events. The lock-ins will still be 40k themed.

The June 11th event will now be a 40k "Throne of Skulls event". More details on this to come.

The September 10th event will be a 40K team tourney. This will be similar to the event we ran earlier this year.

I will give me info on these as I get the details hammered out.

Yes next May's tourney will be 2k pts I guess the only other question is weather or not painting will count..

as its ard boyz style i assumed not and planned on using my grey knights, if painting is in effect for next month i may have to reconsider what army i use....

Our Ard Boyz events will never judge painting. Figures must be wysiwyg in every way. Weapons and all units must represent exactly what they are.

Is there any way to use the Da Boyz GT missions and run it kinda like a primer?

Sept. 10th would be the second Saturday. I haven't heard anything about the monthly tournament. I'm guessing that since they're hosting 'Ardboyz semi's with a lock in afterward on the 17th, there won't be a normal tournament.

That, and there was a poster up for a magic event on the 10th.

We can have three missions finalized if Travis wants to. Is there a sept 10 event?
