We will probably need a few people with either trucks or mini vans to assist in moving tables around. Wonder what the tables will be like at the new venue? They are six or eight foot folding tables.

I can help out with verifying army lists and paperwork. I'm going to try to get a table done, but I don't want to make any promises yet.

I just noticed that our 2011 GT will also be a qualifier for the 2012 USA ETC team (Sparks posted it on dakka). teamamerica40k.com/?page_id=6We should add this to the website and promote this heavily. I think it has the potential to add a lot of excitement and buzz to the event. I know I'll be trying that much harder

I wanted to give you guys a head's up. I was interviewed by Pat of the 11th Company for next week's podcast. Hopefully I didn't come off as an idiot (it was about 10:30 when we got done talking and I was a bit tired). It'll only be 5 days before the events starts, so it's probably not going to draw in a lot of new players, but I think that I did a reasonable job of explaining the comp system and why we have it.
One thing that Pat mentioned is that he was interested in doing a followup interview after the GT and potentially reporting the results. They release the podcast on a Monday, so if we get them the results on Sunday, we can send them to Pat for publicity. I know that when the ETC hit, I was looking for information about the results all weekend. If possible, it'd be cool to release some results data as the weekend progresses.

Hi Smitty
I am coming up with a friend on Thursday and we are trying to get into the team event. Regardless of how that goes.. is there anything that you still need a hand with?
Please let me know. Jay has my contact info.
Cheers
Phil

Couple questions:
1. If we sent in our lists by the early submission deadline, do we need to bring copies or will you be handing out standardized versions like last year?
2. In the team event, will "defenders" be able to pick their tables first like at the ETC/ATC?
