Those DE look awesome Aaron. Are you playing in the team competition with them? It would be a good chance to change that goose egg in the W column to a 3...
How is the idea of Daddy - baby painting time working? I was hoping to get some of that in...

Unfortunately the Feb tourney will always be off limits for me as the second Saturday will always fall on or before Valentines and will always be impossible for me to take off. I'm still able to paint in short periods between bottles and diaper changes. I'm not getting as much time but luckily airbrushing the base colors is saving me a lot of time. |

I like to test my color schemes on the baby, it also saves on soiled clothing if you just paint them on and wash them off.
I have heard it is very edgy.
I forgot V-tines day was coming up, I need to figure out something to do for it!

I was thinking the same thing Aaron. I have been so busy at work that paint time is minimal. I will try to get some pics up next week but I am playing catch up on games. Think you could get a game in for 1k and 1250 next week?
I have no problem playing at your house if that is more convienient. This weekend is out though.

I can probably leverage some game time on my good behavior. I'm off Sundays and Mondays now so those are easiest. I can do weeknights except thursdays anytime after 6pm, but I'm on baby duty from 6pm-2am so games will get held up for bottles and diaper changes.
LMK what works for you.

Well, I knew it would be hard to keep up once the baby arrived, but I thought I could keep up with painting and games anyways. Boy, was I wrong. This thread has been my main contact with the league since I only got out for about half of my games, and none in the 1250/1500/1850 periods. I'd like to see what everyone else did if you're willing to share. Joe, this means you. And Steve, I'd like to see the airbrushed green angels. Anyone else too, put up your WPL armies so we have something to look back on (and for homebodies like me who didn't get out to see them in person). I'm not nearly done yet, but here's a sampling of models from different units in my WPL DE army.  See y'all in 2 weeks for the tourney~ |

@ Joe ~ Yeah the price and quality of the finecast/metal beasts made me cry on the inside. IDK why anyone would use them with plenty of plastic fantasy models and hellions available and suitable "counts-as".
@ Chris ~ Thanks man, it means a lot coming from you. You and Joe inspired me to become a better painter.
