May “Random” Team Tournament
First, this will probably be the last theme tourney for a bit, I’m going to try and dig up stuff for a Throne of Skulls Tournament for June, but after that it Kinda depends on what happens with 6th ed, so there may be some “Standard/Rouge Trader “ events coming up after this June.
Army Composition:
1000 Points consisting of :::: 1 HQ, 0-2 Elites, 1-3 troops, 0-2 Fast, 0-2 Heavy.
No Special character/Named Sergeants upgrades
Choices for Elites, Fast, and Heavies are 0-1 I.e. No two long fangs.
Choices that modify army selection are allowed. I.e. Master of the Forge. Sagas
You must also have at least 4 of the 5 force org slot
Mission Setups: are going to be Spear-head, Pitched Battle and Triangle Corner’s
Mission Objectives: are going to be, Kill points, Seize ground with 5 object’s, and capture and control with 3 objectives, 1 in each deployment area and one dead center of the table or as close to it as agreed on by both sides.
These are not in any order right now.
The way team selection is going to work is, the first round is 100% random draw, then rounds after is going to one player from the “Losers” bracket and one from the “winner” bracket. Yes you might get matched up with the same player twice, but that’s a very slim chance.
Scoring: Winning the mission’s is going to award 12 battle points for both winning players, 6 for a draw and 3 for a lost
Diversity of Destruction In addition to points for a Win/Loss/Draw, bonus points are awarded for eliminating enemy units (one from each opponent) from a single force organization type.
At the end of the game, starting with HQ's, determine if an HQ belonging to each opponent has been removed as a casualty. If so, award a bonus point. Repeat this process for Elite/Troops/Fast Attack/Heavy Support slots.
Dedicated transports count towards this bonus and are tallied with the same Force Organization type as the unit with which they are selected.
If an opponent has no units for a given type, count it as if a unit was removed as a casualty for that type.
Example: Opponents A and B have the following casualty lists: A: 1 HQ, 1 Troop, 2 Fast, B: 1 HQ, 1 Troop. In this case, 2 bonus points are awarded (HQ, Troop). No points are awarded for Fast because only a single player lost a fast attack selection. However, if opponent B did not bring any Fast selections, an additional bonus point would be awarded
Painting: Score is based out of 12 judged by the judge.
Only your units may use your transports/war-gear/buffs
Rules are final 4/22
Lemme know
