Thanks for organizing and running this Ben. It went off pretty smoothly and we had 12 people there which worked out really well. I had a great time and there was a ton of variety....
Dark Eldar Daemons CSM GK (2x) Guard (2x) Space Wolves Necrons Orks Eldar Tau
I am missing one, but I am not sure what it was. Also, ChrisC produced and donated some awesome trophies as prizes - I will post a pic of one of his purity seals - the first place was a gnarly servo skull.

Another thank you to Ben for organizing this event. My Brother and I had alot of fun. It was nice to see alot of varieties in armies as well as being able to play a different style of 40k game.
Also, Lychguard are a bit better than I initially believed, so they will likely be getting paint soonish.

So how did the night turn out? Anything ridiculous happen, 175points scored in 1 game?

Definitely fun so also thanks Ben and Courtney who painted and mounted 3 custom trophies for "Last Man Standing" Paul's GK, "Best Army" Erich's Daemons, and "Smokin Boots" to Duncan's poor Deathstrike IG.
@ warmasterprimus ~ Scoring was scaled down to 10-8-6-4 depending on your placing at each table, so nobody broke the curve with one big win. Erich's fatecrusher daemons got the ridiculous award IMO getting his entire army turn 2 in our second game, surviving IG and GK shooting for multiple phases, and making a joke of my 750pt grotesque deathstar in CC.

Erich's fatecrusher daemons got the ridiculous award IMO getting his entire army turn 2 in our second game, surviving IG and GK shooting for multiple phases, and making a joke of my 750pt grotesque deathstar in CC. That was the luckiest moment of my warhammer life - an entire 1250 GK army unloaded on the crushers and did not do a single wound. You are forgetting though how my Plaguebearers won combat against your Beast Master squad when you had the charge...or how your Archon missed every Blaster shot he took on double 1's (he might have made one actually)... In my third game The Changeling forced a unit of Broadsides to unload on the Broadsides next to them one turn, and the next turn forced them to shoot them again - in the meantime a gunless Hellhound Tank Shocked a Dreadknight (successfully) twice in a row.

There were so many things in that last game that should not have happened....
It was a real fun event, and I just want to thank Chris again for the trophies.
I think by the time we do this a 3rd time (March 2013?) we will have all the kinks worked out and have the rules in a better format.

the event was a lot of gun i wasn't originally gonna play but in the end it actually was a lot of fun.
Thanks to Erich's cheesy fate weaver his crushers were just a pain in the ass to kill but i still got to kill the fat Weaver in the end(last time i checked it looked like the keeper of secrets but Erich i wont tell anyone lol)
Thanks for the invite Ben it was a great Event we had a little screw ups with arranging the tables and figuring out where people should go but it wasn't that big of a deal.
but all in all it was a great even
